We have decided that we will host our wedding in two parts. Part 1: Wedding Ceremony The Wedding Ceremony will be held on Friday, May 30th in a small private ceremony . Part 2: Wedding Reception The following day, on Saturday May 31st we will be holding a celebration with our closest friends and family. We have always known that we wanted a small wedding, but that never meant we didn't want to celebrate with all of our closest friends and family! We hope you will agree that this is a great solution and thank you for understanding and respecting our choice.
It was very sweet, and completely us . Back story, when we started dating in 2020 during the height of the pandemic we would go on rides to different spots free of people where we could just take in the sights and sounds around us. Often times they were places Jeff liked to fish or just unplug. One of those places is the Ashuelot Covered Bridge in Winchester, NH; in fact - it was the site of our first selfie together. From that first trip , and many more in between that place has been "our spot." It seems fitting then that when Jeff proposed, it would be at that same spot - our spot on the covered bridge overlooking the water. We had joked for a long time that he would pop the question with a ring pop, and he really did! As tasty as it was, it wasn't going to last long - thinking Jeff was just joking with her Sarah turned to walk away. He then got down on one knee and asked her sincerely to be his wife for infinity and beyond , she said yes !
We first met in a time long ago, back at Bella Notte in Bernardston circa 2010. We were both young and really hadn't figured out life yet and went our separate ways growing along the way. So how did we find our way back to each other? Jeff would tell you that Sarah slid into his DM's , which isn't entirely untrue. What he always leaves out was that she was wishing him a happy birthday in May 2020. That one little message brought back a wave of memories and eventually a request to catch up over a beer. Being that everything was closed because of the pandemic this was a bit challenging, but finally on one perfect evening they caught up sitting on the back of his tailgate learning about all the adventures they had experience in between... and the rest is history!
