We met when Ian transferred to Sonoma State and joined the rowing team. As teammates we started to become friends. By the time summer of 2010 came around I may have had a crush on Ian and decided to ask if he would want to join myself, Emma, Stephen Frost and another friend as we drove to Chicago for Lollapalooza in our Prius. Two months later we saw LCD Soundsystem at Treasure Island and Ian told me if I played my cards right he would take me to Club 33 at Disneyland. Spoiler: he did take me to Club 33 and ten years later we are planning our wedding for the 11th anniversary of the LCD Soundsystem show.

We are remaining hopeful that we'll be able to safely gather by October 2021. We are very much looking forward to celebrating with all of our family and friends. If needed, we'll postpone to a later date until it's considered safe.
