Poipu Beach
One of our favorite places on the island! Great waves, warm sand, a beautiful park, snorkeling, and turtles!
Hanalei Pier
Great place for a calm, relaxing beach day. You can jump off the pier or simply lounge on the beach. No big waves here, but a great, shallow beach area is perfect for wading around. The beach is also super close to great shopping and some of our favorite restaurants!
Kalypso Island Bar & Grill
Such a great restaurant right in Hanalei. They offer a wide variety of food on their menu, and the restaurant has a super relaxing and fun environment. We recommend making a reservation here day of if you're interested in going!
Na Pali Experience
This company offers an incredible tour of the Na Pali coast. You can see dolphins, go in sea caves, snorkel, learn about the history of the island, and swim in the crystal clear water on this boat tour. It is a few hours long, but adventure-filled and completely worth the money and time! We couldn't recommend Na Pali Experience enough!
Wailua Shave Ice
Great shave ice for anyone who loves a sweet treat! Would highly recommend.
Java Kai
One of our favorite coffee and breakfast stops on the island - there are two locations on Kauai (Kapa'a and Poipu), both of which are great!
Wishing Well Coffee & Tea
This is our favorite coffee shop on-island! Bonus tip - if you order an iced coffee, you get to keep the super cute souvenir glass!

Luau Ka Hikina
This luau at the Sheraton Coconut beach is a great option if you're looking to attend one! They had an incredible buffet, unlimited drinks, and great performances.
Waimea Canyon State Park
Waimea Canyon offers incredible views and is an easily accessible, quick, and fun morning or afternoon adventure! It is almost impossible to believe that it actually exists on the island.
