Please kindly RSVP to the ceremony by 01/07/2024. That gives us a few weeks to get a final headcount to prepare as we are doing most of the planning ourselves and from across the country!
We kindly ask you arrive at the venue for the vow ceremony by 2:30pm. We plan to promptly begin at 3pm and want to give everyone time to settle in.
Attire is semi-formal but we would love it if you humored us and wore all black attire (not black tie, just black outfits!) with your choice of fun accent colors. If all black feels challenging or impossible we wouldn't mind dark hues. Make it fun for yourself as we make our gothic-dance-party dream come to life.
It is our dream to have an intimate evening surrounded by our closest friends and family so we get to spend time with each of you one on one as much as possible. We have listed the guests that are invited on each individual invitation. Our after party is going to be much more casual or relaxed, and we invite dates and (non listed) plus ones to join us after!
We love kids and are parents ourselves but our daughter will only be present for the ceremony. Due to the design of the venue it is best that the reception remain adults only. We are hoping this also gives the adults an afternoon to unwind. If this is something that could possibly inhibit you from attending the full day, please let us know, as we want all of our loved ones present!
All local travel recommendations are listed under the 'travel' tab. Due to the wedding being in the "off season" at the Jersey Shore there is ample availability at most hotels, B&Bs, AirBNBs, and VRBOs. We recommend looking in Long Branch, Asbury Park, or Ocean Grove (for a quaint experience) if the accommodations we suggested don't work for you. We strongly urge our guests to utilize the local small businesses in their quiet season if possible.
Ceremony and reception will occur under one roof. There is a parking lot behind the venue in the adjacent school. It will be on a Sunday so the lot is able to be used for parking. There is also tons of street parking. We urge guests to use car services such as local taxis, LYFT, or Uber if you plan on drinking (responsibly).
The venue itself does have a tall staircase to enter, as it is a loft space. There is a wheelchair style lift that can be used to enter and leave the venue. All parts of the celebration, including ceremony, dining, and restrooms are on that same level. If you need accommodations for the day of please reach out to us directly and we will ensure simplified access to the space.
