Dear friends and family, We hope sincerely that this update finds you well. When we initially made up our guest list, we had to make some tough choices due to the size of our venue. Then, unfortunately, we got hit with a global pandemic, and our already-small venue got smaller. We can only have 25 people total in our venue-including the owner, caterers, and photographer. We are, however, looking on the bright side. Through the miracle of technology, we can have everyone witness our ceremony-and we want you to! We'll send out more information with links in the coming days, and to those on our original guest list-we're sending you something so we can have a "piece" of you with us on our wedding day (so please remember to send it back!). Love always, Ian and Andréa
Both fans of the podcast My Brother, My Brother, and Me, we joined a fan-run dating group on Facebook. Through there, conversation struck up about cameras, guitars, chickens, and s'mores. I smoothly slid into Ian's DMs, asking if we could talk more regularly, and Ian obliged. We talked for a few months while he lived in Maryland and I lived in Pennsylvania. Eventually, in October of 2018, we watched The Shining and actually heard each other's voices for the first time (and I was immediately smitten). October 5, 2018, Ian made a fateful trip up to the Pennsylvania Renaissance Faire in Manheim, PA. After spending the day watching me not be me, we split an order of buffalo fries at Rino's. The rest? Well, that's history.
