Where Will The Wedding Be Located?

Our wedding is taking place at The Chocolate Lake Best Western located at 250 Saint Margarets Bay Road, Halifax, Nova Scotia.

Will There Be Available Accommodations On Site?

Yes! You are more than welcome to spend the night at the Chocolate Lake Best Western at a special wedding guestroom rate, just mention our wedding party when booking.

What Is The Dress Code?

Answer

There is no specific dress code, any semi-formal attire will do.

What Time Should I Arrive For The Ceremony?

Answer

Our ceremony starts at 4:30pm and if you're planning to stay on site the check-in begins at 3:00pm.

Is There Parking Available At The Venue?

Yes, there is plenty of parking available.

Will There Be Food?

Answer

It wouldn't be a wedding without food! We'll be having a plated dinner in the evening after the ceremony.

Any plus ones invited will be included on the physical invitation sent.

Unfortunately this will be a child free event.

Is There An After-Party Or Additional Events?

As you may know, we aren't very big dancers so while there wont be any late night parties, those staying the night at the hotel will be more than welcome to join us for breakfast the following morning.
