We technically first met at a strip club, an unexpected place for a first meeting, with shared friends (and no, Kate wasn’t working). But we truly got to know each other when Kate moved into the same house as Jon, Riley’s best friend. Over a year, our friendship grew into something deeper, one shared moment at a time. Then came a trip to Vegas, and we’ve been together ever since.

We were headed to a show in Canada with a group of friends, but Riley saw the perfect chance to leave a little early and spend a few days in Coeur d’Alene. He planned a beautiful dinner overlooking the boardwalk, and afterward led Kate down to the water’s edge. There, with the lake behind them and a photographer secretly waiting, he asked the big question. We are so excited to celebrate this next chapter with all of you. See you in Monroe!
