Jason and Veronica met while working at Valley Recovery Center. They became fast friends, working late nights there was a lot of delirious jokes and bonding over their favorite Door Dash orders. Sometime after working together, they started hanging out outside of work, with the help of their coworker pushing them along to start going to the gym together. Quickly becoming inseparable, they regularly describe it like a movie "one day there were sparks and the rest of the world disappeared." They had a lot against them from the get go, between Jason being Veronica's team lead and personal things going on. But they climbed those mountains and propelled into moving in together. Now, here we are 6 years later and with their fur baby family they are getting married!
Now, this is the perfect story. Grab a blanket and some hot cider and get cozy, you're going to love this! Veronica and Jason travelled to Calgary, Canada to see her friend, Chrissy, and be at her wedding (it was amazing!). After the wedding, they took off to Storm Mountain Cabins in the Banff National Forest for a few days before going to their next stop. The next morning was full of adventures! Starting the day at this cute little pub to try shepherds pie for the first time and off they went to stroll the little town of Banff. After a little while they took a gondola up to the top of Sulphur Mountain. It was indescribably beautiful! After a lot of photos taken, they went back down and headed to their bus to take them to their next destination. Moraine Lake. The lake that will forever be a one of the biggest parts of their lives. They hopped on their bus which held only 3 of them (causing some slight panic after being told they needed bear spray to go) they were on their way to the lake. Once there, they hiked up a hill and a pause break to catch their breath. Jason asked a woman to take their photo, as they got into place, he got on one knee! It was magical, overlooking this crisp blue lake and barely anyone else around. After the shock and the surprise the the woman wasn’t so random, she was their photographer for their engagement photos. Ending the night, they went to this crowded pub, everyone obviously having a wonderful time, Jason had a steak and Veronica had a grilled cheese and tomato soup. It was perfect.
