We met at Ithaca College when Jake found Kelly eating trail mix (only the chocolate pieces of course) in his room during his house party senior year. Our paths continued to cross through mutual friends and we began to spend many days hanging out and snap chat messaging. We started dating after Jake began grad school at Temple University and Kelly continued her grad school at Ithaca College. Our long distance became even longer when Jake moved to North Carolina for his PhD. After many trips to visit one another, we finally moved in together after Kelly graduated. Now we are living in Maryland and excited for this next chapter.
Kelly and Jake both grew up taking family vacations to Lake George. They began to make memories there together when they started going on Jake’s family’s annual trip to Lake George when they started dating. This made The Erlowest an easy venue choice for their wedding. Erlowest was built in 1898 as a private residence. During World War I the owner invited convalescing officers to her Erlowest home, providing them with a sanctuary for relaxation. In 1999, Erlowest was sold to its current owner who renovated the building into the Inn it is today that “stands as a living testament to its rich history, inviting guests to step back in time and create their own unforgettable memories”
