We’re counting down the days until we say “I do,” and we can’t wait to celebrate with all of our favorite people. On this site, you’ll find all the details about our big day, from the schedule to the registry. Thank you for being a part of this special moment in our lives!
We’ve known each other since kindergarten in our small hometown of Nevada, Texas. Over the years, our paths kept crossing at class parties, sports games, and in the hallways. What started as a simple childhood friendship slowly grew into something more. In middle school, we were close. We joked, we teased, and somewhere in the middle of it all, Zach asked me to be his girlfriend. I said no, which looking back feels like a total miss. Thankfully, we stayed best friends. By the time he asked again on June 3rd, 2017, we were older, closer, and I knew I didn’t want to miss the chance this time. He gave me a necklace and a tiny glass bottle with a note inside that said, “Will you be my girlfriend?” I was so excited to say yes. That’s when our real story began We went to every homecoming dance together all four years. Took prom photos, laughed through late-night drives to Whataburger, and stood side by side at graduation. Since then, we’ve supported each other through college, career choices, and plenty of adventures. We’ve been through just about every season of life together, always learning and growing as we go. On July 19th, 2025, we hiked up to Canyon Overlook in Zion National Park before the sun was even up. I thought we were just there to catch the sunrise over the mountains, but at the top, Zach got down on one knee and popped the question. He planned it all so perfectly. The quiet morning, the view, and the timing was beautiful and so full of thought. It felt like something out of a dream, and saying yes was the easiest decision I’ve ever made.
We’ve known each other for as long as we can remember. Growing up in the same town, going to the same schools, and sharing the same group of friends, our lives were always overlapping. What started as a childhood friendship became something steady and familiar the kind of bond that was always there, even before we fully understood how much it would eventually mean. What she didn’t know during all those years was that I, Zach, had a massive crush on her. For as long as we’d known each other, I was quietly trying to win her over with subtle compliments, corny jokes, and probably some painfully obvious flirting that I thought was smooth at the time. Let’s just say there were definitely a lot of failed attempts along the way, but I never stopped hoping she’d eventually see me as more than just a friend. Then, finally, the summer before our sophomore year of high school, something changed. Somehow, I convinced her to give me a shot, and to this day, I still don’t know how I pulled it off. Since then, she’s been the most important part of my life, and I’ve never looked back. For the past eight years, we’ve grown through so many stages of life together. From high school memories and college decisions to new jobs, late-night talks, and quiet everyday moments, we’ve supported each other, challenged each other, laughed constantly, and built a relationship rooted in love, trust, and a deep friendship that started all those years ago. When it came time to propose, I knew it had to be something special. During a trip to Utah, I planned a hike to one of the most beautiful mountain overlooks I could find. Surrounded by fresh air, blue sky, and miles of open space, I asked the girl I’ve loved for years to spend forever with me. It was quiet, meaningful, and everything I hoped it would be.
