I honestly have no clue. I like to say that it was a miracle. Little did I know when I met Ashley that my life was going to be changed forever. I like to say that Ashley is the testament to my faith. I remember praying for a stronger faith and community and two weeks later God put this angel in my life who I somehow convinced to be my future wife. We were exactly what we both needed at the time and have been growing closer to God together. We have been blessed with the most amazing community, friends and family to help us get where we are today and could not have done it without them. As much as this is our wedding celebration, this is a celebration of all of us. -Andrew On March 5th, 2022, I met Drew. I walked into a room full of people and saw him: a bright, smiley, and confident guy that everyone loved being around. He was laughing, smiling, moving from person to person—he seemed to be friends with everyone. Immediately, I knew I wanted to be friends with him too. Friendship, however, was not the first thing on Drew’s mind, as that was the night he asked me out on our first date. It started with an extended hand chivalrously reached down to assist me as I sat awkwardly on the wet floor of his kitchen. I guess you could say I sort of “fell” for him in this moment. Our first date consisted of conversations about Drew’s Bible verse tattoo, shared white hot chocolates, and a near concussion. The evening was, of course, concluded with Drew serenading me with the song “Beautiful Soul” by Jesse McCartney… in none other than the Barley Mow’s parking lot. Two years later, I am sitting here with a ring on my finger, thinking back on how we got here… or rather, who got us here. In every piece of our lives bringing us to this moment, God has been loving us, wanting us to receive His love, and recklessly pursuing us until we both fully and freely gave Him our whole heart. He is why we are here today, and He will be what holds us together. -Ashley
