Question

Why Sunday?

Answer

We know you may have to take time off from your jobs on Monday to come share Sunday with us and for that we want to say a huge "Thank you!" We would like to have you think of this as a wonderful part of a great mini-vacation. We really hope that you'll take the time to enjoy our wedding, explore the area (check out the Things to Do tab like the zoo), and use this as an excuse for a long weekend to meet new people and reconnect with those you love. Plus, there is an Iowa State vs Baylor game on Saturday.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

All RSVPs need to be received by August 15, 2019.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive between 4:30 and 5pm. The ceremony will start at 5pm. Shuttle will run for those that have reserved a spot from Holiday Inn. It will leave at 4:15. Remember that it takes 15 minutes to drive from Council Bluffs to the venue. It takes 15 minutes to drive from Treynor to the venue. Please don't be late.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is a large parking lot directly south of the Ceremony and Reception Hall. There is a handicap drop off area, please follow those signs only if you have a handicap person.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

In order to keep our guest list on track we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If there is any confusion as to who is included on your invitation, you can enter your name on the RSVP tab. Reach out to Holly if you have further questions.

Question

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

While we love all your children, we have decided to limit the children in attendance to immediate family and wedding party only. Enjoy your night without kids.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We would prefer that you wear cocktail or formal attire. The wedding party will be in tuxedos and floor length, formal dresses. We want you to feel comfortable for dancing, so if those shoes are too high or that top button is too tight, let it all hang loose.

Question

What food are you serving?

Answer

Post wedding ceremony there will be appetizers and drinks available inside. After the grand entrance there will be a full buffet which has two entree options of chicken or beef, mashed potatoes, green beans, salad and rolls. We will be serving wedding cake post cake cutting pictures.

Question

What drinks are you serving?

Answer

There will be water and soft drinks available for all ages, the bar will also be serving four signature wines from the Bella Terre Vineyard as well as Bud Light on tap for those of age. You will be able to purchase mixed drinks and additional beer selections if you'd prefer that over the included options. Please bring your ID.

Question

Will there be a shuttle?

Answer

A shuttle will be provided for those that specifically RSVP for the shuttle and are staying at the Holiday Inn hotel that has our block of hotel rooms. There will be ONE shuttle leaving the hotel at 4:15 pm. There will be ONE shuttle leaving the venue going back to the hotel at 10:15 pm. We need a head count as early as possible for those that would like to use the shuttle, so book your hotel and mark the RSVP by your name as attending both the Shuttle Required and Wedding and Reception. If more people book a room and need a shuttle we will see about getting additional shuttles.

Question

At which stores are you registered?

Answer

We are very lucky to have our family home furnished how we like it. We have accumulated all of the basics from two complete households so we already have twice what we need. In lieu of registering for traditional items, we created some cash funds where you can contribute towards our honeymoon and family funds that would be greatly appreciated. You'll find those on the Registry tab of this website.

Question

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We are asking that our guests help us have a completely unplugged ceremony. We have hired photographers to capture moments of the ceremony for us in a natural way (without seeing other iphones up in the air or guests taking pictures in the aisle). We ask that you keep your phones with ringers off in your purses and pockets, be in the moment. We promise to share the professional pictures.

Question

Can I take photos at the reception?

Answer

Absolutely! We will have our photographers for part of the evening but would love if you would capture moments as well. Please use our hashtag #2019HollyAndDean on Instagram/Twitter/Facebook so we can see the celebration through your eyes!

Question

Can we bring our own alcoholic drinks?

Answer

Per our contract: "NO outside alcohol is to be brought on premises of Bella Terre by order of State Law. Violators will be fined $100 per container if found on premises and may result in the closing of the event"
