Caio and Sam first met on October 17, 2015. Caio was out for a fun night after a long day at work and Sam was out with her friends to celebrate her 23rd birthday. It was in the middle of the dance floor when Caio and Sam turned around and bumped right into each other. Sam immediately looked up and saw a very tall foreign man and Caio saw a very gorgeous blonde and blue eyed woman. Caio asked Sam to dance and of course Sam can not pass up a chance to dance. Caio then asked for Sam's number before leaving and she gave it to him in hopes he would soon call. Caio waited two very very long days before texting Sam to ask for a date. They met two days on October 21st, the night before Sam's 23rd birthday. They met at The Granfalloon on the Plaza on a beautiful fall Wednesday evening. They talked and laughed and talked some more. It was a smooth conversation and they did not want to leave. Sam first recognized Caio's sensitive and caring heart, good looks and love for volleyball. Caio first recognized that Sam was passionate with an amazing heart and very hard working. They ended the night with Caio singing happy birthday in Portuguese and another date for two days later. After the first two dates Caio and Sam were insuperable. Constantly talking on the phone an trying to get any chance they could to see each other. It was after 5 or 6 months that Caio and Sam started to feel that they would do this thing called life together forever. On October 19, 2016 Caio proposed to Sam at Loose Park and Sam instantly said yes. Followed by a engagement shoot, dinner at Gram & Dunn and a surprise engagement party at Sam's Sister and Brother-In-Law's house. Caio and Sam can not wait to share their special day with you.
