Albany International Airport (ALB) is the closest airport to Lake George and is about an hour away.
Staying in the town of Lake George is simplest. There are many hotels within walking distance or a short Uber to the ceremony and Rock the Dock. This would save you the hassle of figuring out parking in the town. Our Welcome Party location is a short drive and there should be ample parking.
While there's plenty of places to stay, it does get busy during the summer, so we definitely recommend booking early.
