There are many airports in the San Clemente area with the closest and easiest being John Wayne Airport (SNA). Long Beach Airport (LGB) or San Diego International Airport (SAN) are also options. Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) is often a less expensive choice, but can get hectic on the weekends, and transportation from here can get pricey.
San Clemente has many great beachside hotels and vacation rentals on AirBnb and Vacasa. Below we have listed a non-exhaustive list of some of the closest and highest rated hotels in the area. The neighboring cities, such as Dana Point, Laguna Beach, and Newport Beach, also have great accommodations.
