Maddie joined Lydia, Jacob’s sister, at a Kacey Musgraves concert on 9.7.19. Maddie did not know Jacob existed at the time. Maddie and Jacob sat next to each other at the concert. Sparks flew, and both knew that this was truly something special. It was love at first sight for Jacob and Maddie, and their forever was just beginning.

Two days before the anniversary of when Jacob & Maddie started dating, they traveled to Frank Lloyd Wright's "Falling Waters" home, with their friend & sister, Lydia. As they were looking at the house from a distance, and getting pictures, Jacob confessed how much he wanted to spend the rest of his life with Maddie by his side. Maddie replied happily with "Of course". That day confirmed what Jacob and Maddie already knew on that September day 4 years before, that this was the person they were meant to spend forever with, and they were now home.
