In 2017, I received my Bachelor of Fine Arts from Minnesota State University Moorhead, MN. My emphasis is in photography, and I have loved implementing what I learned from school into my work. In November of 2017, I got married to the love of my life, whom I met a few years earlier when I was a missionary with NET Ministries. I am a mom to my sweet girl, Avila, and a wife to my incredible husband, Hector. Holiness is my ultimate destination. I photograph wedding days as unposed as possible - outside of a designated portrait time, I am quietly observing and documenting. This leaves room for you to be in the moment with your friends and family and for the relationships you hold dear to translate honestly into photographs. I believe no amount of posing can create a better photo than genuine emotion and the opportunity for spontaneity (and a little chaos ha) to unfold. I know being in front of the camera is awkward and makes some people uncomfortable. My job is to make them comfortable, and pose them- but also make them comfortable enough to express their emotions during special moments. I think capturing raw emotion is so important, because when you look at those photos, you remember what you were feeling, you remember that moment!
