Bus from Harrisonburg to Luray Caverns

Time to get movin' and get excited! We will provide a bus from the DoubleTree Hotel in Harrisonburg to the Ceremony at Luray Caverns, as well as a return bus to Harrisonburg following the reception. The ride to the Cavern will be about 30-45 minutes. The bus will only make ONE TRIP so please make sure to be at the DoubleTree main entrance and ready to board the bus at 4:30pm!
Cocktail Hour!

Ceremony in Luray Caverns

Semi-Formal: suits and cocktail dresses. Please plan to wear shoes which allow you to walk to the ceremony location and back out of the caverns for the reception.
All guests will go down to the caverns together so please be ready around 6:15pm. From the cavern entrance to the ceremony location, you will get to see the incredible caverns (walking distance of approximately half a mile). There will be no cell reception but don't forget you're phone/camera to capture the beautiful formations and memorable moments. The path through the caverns is a smooth brick walkway and the cavern temperature is always a comfortable 56 degrees F. Once at the ceremony location, seating will be provided. It's a little over half a mile to exit the caverns but we've been told shortcuts will be used while exiting, to cut down the distance. Lovely Ladies! I recommend wearing flats or comfortable heals to the actual ceremony. If you'd like, you're welcome to bring other shoes/heals to leave at the Burner Barn-Cocktail Hour to change into when we return to the barn for the Reception.

New York Celebration

We will hold a mini reception in New York for those who can not make it to the Caverns. This will be held sometime after the September 28th wedding date. This event will have a separate RSVP option on our wedding website. We're still planning our New York Celebration so check back for more information soon!
