I love making the wedding a special event for the couple. My job is the dancefloor. I rate myself based on how many people stayed on the dancefloor and for how long. My clients will tell you that people stay on the dancefloor most of the night on my events. Because I do a lot of homework before every event in preparing all the music they selected. I got into DJing by accident. After learning that working as an Industrial Engineer in a fortune 500 company didn't bring me much fulfillment, a friend suggested I join his DJ company. His company supplied DJ services for over 200 weddings a year! After my first wedding gig I was hooked. It gave me purpose, and an outlet I never knew was possible. I quickly became the most requested DJ in the company and within my market. Now I DJ on my own, and I'm so blessed to be able to curate an atmosphere of joy where families can connect.

My name is Rogelio (Roger) Sanchez aka DJ Konkocshun. It all began while in H.S., a buddy of mine (I consider him my brother) was a DJ and I used to tag along and even help him mix some tracks. After H.S. I joined the Marine Corps and after several years, I continued to get the itch of mixing music and missed playing on the turntables. After an experience we had with another DJ for a personal event, I decided to give it a go. I love mixing different genres of music and the excitement of people enjoying themselves while on the dance floor or bobbing their heads in their seats. I practice my craft daily to present a beautiful experience.
