The day of the wedding they were so fun to be with and made everyone feel comfortable and went above and beyond to capture perfect moments. We are a married couple of photographers. Within years of career, we discovered what’s really matters - we want to make people happy. Weddings have it all: new interesting people, touching stories, warm family relationships, tears. A lot of tears! Oh, don’t forget dances and sparklers! So, it’s fun! 🙂 Also, we love weddings because it’s the most challenging kind of photography in the field, it combines all the genres. It make you think, move and react quickly in constantly changing surrounding. We have no room for mistakes. So It’s never boring! 🙂

Tati and Roman were amazing photographers in every step of the process. They responded to exactly what we asked for in our photos which was unique little moments that we might’ve missed otherwise, I couldn’t have asked for a better photographers for the most important day of my life. Justin McCallum Photography

New York, NY
  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $5,200

Hi! I’m Justin (he/him) and I’m here to affirm your love, make you feel like a fucking rockstar, and dance like a total fool. Oh, and take so many gorgeous photos of y’all. Obvs. My style blends both documentary photojournalism and fine art photography: coaching folks who are shy in front of the camera, then stepping back to capture authentic moments uninterrupted. I’ve been lucky enough to have my work published by A Practical Wedding, The New York Times, GLAMOUR, People Magazine and many other fabulous outlets. I'm a stereotypical Capricorn that loves drag shows, campy horror films, every dog I meet, and Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups.

Awarded Best of Zola
Hiring Justin is one of the best decisions we made while wedding planning. My husband and I are by no means models and Justin made us feel so incredibly comfortable both on and off camera! Our bridal party and families also said how comfortable he made them feel as well. He has an arsenal of jokes and prompts to create natural smiles and the most incredible pictures. He also took all of my weird picture ideas and turned them into something beautiful. Our photos have come out absolutely amazing, and we have received so many compliments on them from friends and family! As well as being widely talented, he is also the most wonderful human. We would hire Justin again in a heartbeat!

Hi, I'm Celeste, I'm from a small town in Spain. Now leaving in NY. I have spent the last seven years getting to know new humans and documenting their stories and connections. How they got into that point of their life, and what makes them light up. I feel it is quite a responsibility and a significant honor to be able to create this legacy for them.

From the moment we saw Celeste’s work on her site, we knew we HAD to have her photograph our wedding. Her quality style photos were just stunning, the natural style and unposed pictures we just fell in love with. From the minute we met Celeste, we felt comfort, transparency and overall joy. She is so friendly and approachable and we knew she would blend into our wedding effortlessly. For months up to the wedding, she stayed in touch and when it came to the day it felt like we’d known her for years! During the day she was like a ninja! You never saw her but she was everywhere! From the complimentary engagement photos, to the day of our wedding, Celeste captured so many lovely moments between people we love so dearly and we will treasure these pictures forever! If anyone is even slightly considering hiring Celeste, don’t think about it just do it!!!! You will NOT regret it!!! I promise. Celeste, we can’t thank you enough for your lovely service and we will always be so grateful. We are already talking about renewing our vows in the future and having you photograph this for us haha!!! From the bottom of our hearts thank you!! Te amo

Creative Photojournalism & Cinematic Video by PSPi

New York, NY
  • Photojournalistic style

We are a family owned and operated studio delivering Photography & Cinematic Video. What started with my father who opened our first studio in Brooklyn, New York in 1992, has evolved into a spectacular studio that captures moments candidly for you to share with friends and family. At PSPi we tell your wedding day story in a new style. A style that blends photo journalism with an unobtrusive cinematic approach. Bringing back that powerful and emotional experience to a product that is personal, unique, modern and artistic.

I am so so so happy that Pavel and Eric were at our wedding to take pictures for our prep, first-look, ceremony, family, and reception pictures. Eric's guidance on posing for our couple was very professional and helpful that we had so many great pictures of ourselves. They were so flexible for our requests too! My individual pictures at the bridal suite are so gorgeous that I look the happiest girl in the world that day! My bridesmaids and groomsmen had all formal, fun, and creative pictures from the prep time to the end of reception! As our wedding was multi-ethnic wedding where two very different cultures combine together, I really wanted pictures that can highlight amazing sides of the both parties and Eric really did an amazing job that I could not love more! He was a very nice professional photographer I have ever worked with. The return of our wedding pictures was very quick too (2 weeks). I am so happy that we did not listen to our wedding venue's reference list but did all my research myself on weddingwire and found PSPi Studio! I highly recommend PSPi Studio for any occations including wedding! Thank you Pavel and Eric!

Kim-Trang Photography

5.0

New York, NY
  • Photojournalistic style

After working 10+ years in corporate America in NYC, California and traveling the globe, I found myself wanting more than what the traditional career path had set for me. I stumbled into photography while I was on maternity leave with my oldest and started a side hustle that I had no idea was going to turn into a complete career change years later. From the very first wedding I shot, I knew I was onto something. And ever since then, I haven't looked back.

Awarded Best of Zola
I hired Kim and I am so glad I did! So many of my guests said to me during the event "your photographer is so great" that I was blown away. The end result (the photos) were beautiful thanks to the positions/directions she gave us during the event and also thanks to how at ease Kim made everyone feel. Her professionalism, reliability, organization and communication are all stellar and she took time and care to understand and deliver what I really prioritized. I would hire Kim again and again and again. Thank you Kim!!

Dasha Murashka

  • Photojournalistic style

I'm in love with human emotions, either it's laughing till it hurts or tears of happiness. When your man hugs you so strong, that you can't breathe or when your dad is crying (for the first time in his life!) listening to your vows at the altar. I do believe, that these un-staged moments are more meaningful than classy portraits on a sunset (but no worries, you'll plenty of both!) If you feel like we are on the same page - let's talk! Write me a few words about who you are, tell me your story and let's create something beautiful together!

Awarded Best of Zola
Dasha was recommended to us by a friend, but we were unsure of what to expect and really weren't too enthused about having to take wedding photos (mostly a family request). We relented and ended up with a rainy day, which further worried us. Dasha calmly and efficiently guided us around her suggested locations, with minimal fuss. The whole experience was easy, efficient, and professional. The final product was excellent. We would absolutely recommend Dasha, especially if you have any doubts or are unsure of where/how/what you want...she will guide you perfectly!

I found my love for photography in a high school dark room, and I have continued to follow that passion to find myself today working as a hybrid photographer in both Film and Digital. I strive not to just take pictures, but to capture candid emotions and capture them in a beautiful way. My photography is personal and intimate. My approach is a mixture of fine art and documentary, I try to capture your moments and day as it happened but highlighting the special details and taking advantage of the best lighting. As a lover of history I love capturing personal and family histories that surround weddings.

Awarded Best of Zola
Just a few minutes into our first conversation with Judson, we knew she was our wedding photographer. She was great to work with — very easy-going, fun and the utmost professional who has a fantastic eye and the patience of a saint for our ... always sort of "extra" family — and dog, Kona, who refused to cooperate with most pictures haha. My husband and I normally shy away from being in front of the camera, but with Judson's energy and personality, our discomfort quickly melted away, and we could just focus on having the best day of our lives. She even got us to dance atop one of the hills on Roosevelt Island, which ended up being some of our favorite pics! By the end of the night, it was like Judson had been part of our family forever. I know she'd be a great addition to your family and wedding, too. We cannot recommend her enough! She really listens to what you want and delivers the most beautiful memories.

Emma Cleary Photo and Video

5.0

New York, NY
  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $4,000

After graduating from Parson's School of Art in Manhattan, I worked as a fine artist, my work involved photography and photo manipulation. I quickly discovered that I loved and excelled at photo retouching, and went on to work for some of the best photo retouching studios in New York. In 2009 I shot my first wedding, it was a dear friend of mine and the beautiful photos were featured in one of the biggest wedding magazines. I realized that I had found my calling and have been producing stunning wedding photographs with my amazing team and clients ever since.

I was referred to Emma Cleary via a gf who had just had her wedding shot and said she did great work so I was happy to get a glowing referral while trying to source vendors. Emma was a godsend for me, because my wedding had so much that I wanted to cover, with so many moving pieces (7 musical acts, 20 performers, etc.) at so many different locations (a memorial area for first look, then over to a Park for ceremony, then a boat to an Island for the reception) via different modes of transportation (car, ferry, boat, 2nd line parade) over multiple nights (we shot both Friday -Sunday am) but her and her team came along for the entire ride and nailed it and I got AMAZING photos for every part. The lead photographer was so on it (which we needed bc we were on such a tight schedule) and the other photographers were also great and told us jokes which helped me actually get genuine smiles and helped so much during the stressful first look. My veil blew away during my photos (before the ceremony, sigh) and they were there trying to climb the tree to get it (but it was way too high up!) but A+ for effort. And the best part was that she actually SAVED my wedding... we had planned on getting married next to a carousel inside a public park, and the carousel party coordinator didn't file the required permit we needed so a hour before I walked down the aisle the park rangers came in and forced the setup/guests out. Emma knew the owner of a nearby restaurant where she had shot wedding photos before and asked the owner if we could use in front of his restaurant (facing the water) as a ceremony site. If that had not happened then who knows where I would have gotten married. She worked with my wedding planner and my guests (and us too!) had a place to have our ceremony last second... she was a total life saver during such a stressful and important moment. And then at the end once we received the photos, my favorite part was the light editing which was just the right amount, not too fake, so was perfect. Some of the photos dont even look like we are in a city which I just loved loved loved and had said I wanted, and then when we wanted city or actions shots she got those too so we had options of everything we did in every way. There is one shot where she got the end of our first dance and it looks like we are in a Broadway play! Anyways, as you could tell I couldnt have recommended any more bc she has so many years of experience it helped us with not only capturing the moments perfectly, and in a perfect way, it also helped us bc she knows all the wedding venues and wedding industry people and I never realized how much that plays a part in booking vendors.

I live in New York City and Northwest CT with my wife and our two rescue dogs. I am a commercial lifestyle and wedding photographer. My creative journey began when I spent a decade touring the country with my indie rock band, The Booda Velvets. While on tour I was always taking photos with my dad’s old Pentax film camera and a Polaroid SX70. During this time, my passion for documentary style photography was born and after touring I traded the guitar for the camera and haven’t looked back.

We had the pleasure of having Adam photograph our wedding in Ireland that spanned a windy, birght beach, an old, dimly-lit manor house and a sprawling field full of sheep as the sun was setting. No matter, the light, distractions or location, he took wonderful shots. He asked lots of targeted questions in the run up to the wedding so on the day of, he captured all the memories that were important to us while also staying in the background. Adam is an incredibly talented, smart and competent person. We could not recommend him more.

When you book Susan, you book an entire team. I was so confident the whole night that photos were completely handled because Susan's team was ON TOP of it. Before I even thought about a shot, they were already taking it. It didn't feel cheesy and they were so fun to work with. Susan was very patient and kind with me too whenever we did pre-wedding calls and I was an utter mess trying to plan everything.

Working with Craig and his team was an absolute highlight of the wedding day. He is the epitome of thoughtful and professional. Craig was incredibly organized in advance of our event. He asked for a schedule of the day so he could figure out where he and his team needed to be and when. He helped us layout all the shots we wanted to make sure we got and nailed EVERY ONE. He was the perfect balance of present and invisible. And not only that, the pictures are INSANELY GORGEOUS. We made a stunning album from his images and look at it all the time. We absolutely loved working with Hector for our engagement photos. The experience itself was a blast - we truly had so much fun shooting and he made us feel comfortable and relaxed, which is exactly what comes through in every single photo. The final product is beyond what we could have imagined and we have not stopped getting compliments from family and friends. We are booking him for our wedding and know he will take beautiful photos to help us remember the day!

I would describe myself as a minimalist on the outside, Liberace on the inside. Obsessed with: dogs, dog-like cats, oysters, urban planning, and really excellent stand-up comedy. I'm originally from the majestic state of New Jersey, and live in the Ditmars section of Astoria, Queens. When I'm not photographing weddings, you can bet I'm either reading or writing fiction (currently working on a project set in Pennsylvania coal country, where my grandfather grew up), watching or rewatching great television

We have worked with several photographers over the years for different occasions. Mark is unquestionably the most professional and talented. After the first time Mark worked for us it was obvious we didn’t have to look elsewhere for future events. Most importantly Mark makes everyone comfortable and at ease in front of the camera. No matter how you want to capture your special day he will to customize it to your needs. After your event is over he will work until you are completely satisfied with the end product. We are Roge and Fernando and we want you to know some things about us. We passionately and creatively document love stories. (It feels so cheesy when I see it written, but it’s true.) And we want you to understand that there are no second chances to get it right, and that we are obsessed with getting it right. This is your wedding, our work will tell your story forever, and we don’t take that lightly. At all.

This husband and wife duo is the real deal! I have been in 15+ wedding in my life I've seen just about everything. They absolutely exceeded every expectation. The pictures are just on another level. Their ability to efficiently pose large groups is the best I've ever seen. I seen other photographers waste so much time trying to do this but they nailed it in no time at all. The intimate photos getting ready before the ceremony look like they belong in a fashion magazine. They literally got better and better as the night went on. Our reception was action packed, my wife and I danced a good 75% of the time and every time I looked up from the fun they were there capturing all the genuine happy moments with friends and family. The candid photos are so good , looking through the mountain of photos they gave us feels like living my wedding night over every time. Not to mention they gave us like 100 pictures the day after that we shared immediately on social media. Then gave all the rest to us 1 month after the wedding. I can not recommend them enough... for what they gave me I honestly feel like they should have charged me double.

I stay behind the camera because I'm more than a little introverted. That is, until I get to know people. Then I open up and we can talk about movies, music, dogs (I'm happy to show you pictures and videos of my rescue dog). I love what I do because I get to capture moments between you and the most important people in your life that you'll be able to relive for decades to come!

Casey is a great combination of technical and interpersonal skills - he's a terrific photographer who also knows how to talk to humans and make them feel comfortable. I have sent him to several friends of mine for weddings and family photos, and he always gets the shot while making the families feel at ease. You'll love his clear communication and speedy delivery.

We (Melissa & Michael) became wedding photographers because we truly believe we have something different to bring to the table. Our goals are simple: to help you relive each moment of your wedding day every time you look at your images, make you feel comfortable in front of the camera, and blend into the crowd like we're your guests. We pride ourselves on open & honest communication with our couples, a seamless booking-through-wedding-day process, super speedy photo delivery, and lending a helping hand in any way we can.

This review is long overdue and well deserved. If you only have time to read one more sentence: Hire Melissa and be confident that you will get the photos and vision you want on your special day! We partnered with Melissa at Sava Studio for our wedding this past September and she shot, composed and edited our engagement photos as well. Melissa as a vendor is responsive, friendly, knowledgeable, creative and gregarious. She was always open and transparent with us, patient listening to what we thought we wanted and our vision and was always available to offer feedback as we requested. She walked us through the entire wedding process with respect to the photography aspect and she also offered assistance as we needed in related areas as we got closer to our wedding date. Our first interaction with her was our engagement photo shoot and Melissa made my partner and I feel comfortable while she was shooting and she was very flexible in the shots we wanted to take and what we wanted to see. Very importantly for me, Melissa has a great eye for a memorable photo! Getting to see the raw photos as well as the edited ones Melissa showed us her talent and professionalism. We shot in bright sunlight, shade and darker areas and Melissa was able to handle it all. Our wedding was a few months later at our parents house and the area that the ceremony took place in was unique in that there were a lot of trees/shadows/light patterns to manage. Melissa handled it all! She and her partner used every trick in the book to get the best photos of my wife and I and were able to take some classic natural/unposed shots of us. It speaks to her professionalism and vision that she knew where to be and when to get the best shots! Post-wedding, Melissa had us a sizable preview to review almost 24 hours after the wedding so she could collect feedback before sending us our final photo collection. Once sent, Melissa/Sava made it very easy for us to share photos with family and friends and access them in the future for when we wanted to reminisce. We can't thank Melissa enough and we recommend Melissa at Sava for all of your photography needs!

As my Instagram bio says, I'm a country girl by birth, a city girl by choice and a photographer by obsession. I grew up on a farm in a small Midwestern town, but have lived in New York City for over 25 years. As a photographer I say I'm self-taught, but in reality I've had the benefit of amazing mentors and teachers along the way who helped me elevate my work and pursue joy along with results. When not making photos or hanging out with my husband and kids, you can find me with a book in hand or listening to music while indulging my love of textiles at my sewing machine (yes, I really own a sewing machine)! Oh, or dancing! :-)

We loved having Amy photograph our wedding day! Her style of photography is completely different from traditional wedding photography. Amy's candid photography really captured the emotion of the day and we love the black and white prints! Amy worked so well with our other more traditional photographer. The shooting is so different that there was zero interference. We cherish our photos and highly recommend anyone getting married to consider hiring Amy to capture the day!

Hello there! I’m Karen, a wedding and portrait photographer based out of New York. I love photographing LOVE! Connections. The places we go, the people we meet, and the experiences we have along the way are what we remember most in life. I have a passion for traveling and exploring the world, and my life is filled with a lot of laughter, incredible food and wine, and photo adventures with clients turned friends.Memories are such a vivid representation of our lives and capturing the spirit of each couple, family or individual in that sliver of time is an opportunity I am very proud to call my work.

Karen is an amazing photographer with an INCREDIBLE EYE! She captures moments and details that most people miss, but that everyone wants to remember. I worked with Karen at a wedding on the California Coast and was so impressed by her professionalism, warm demeanor and efficiency. The images from the wedding (and my florals) were stunning. I recommend Karen wholeheartedly, and can't wait to work with her again!

“Photography takes a moment out of life…and holds it still” A small collection of photographers who strive to capture the emotion and energy of life’s significant moments in a sophisticated yet understated light hearted way.

My husband and I cannot thank Hechler Photographers enough for everything. It was such a joy shooting with Julio for our engagement shoot in downtown Manhattan and our Rehearsal Dinner at the Union League Club in NYC, and we loved shooting with Julio, David, and John (the videographer) on our wedding day that took place on May 18, 2024 at the Metropolitan Club in NYC. From the moment we met David (recommended by our amazing planner, Jeff Stillwell of Stillwell Events), we knew it was a wonderful match. David is extremely professional, knowledgeable, friendly, and an amazing listener. When David referenced notes from our very first conversation a year and a half later (just a little under a month from our wedding), I was beyond impressed and truly touched. We greatly appreciate how David, Julio, and John were all able to quickly respond in the moment and pivot as needed, whether it was to ensure my hair could be touched up to stay perfectly in place or that we could have time to relax before key moments (e.g., the ceremony). As an incredibly detail-oriented bride, I am so grateful for all the attention to detail that was demonstrated from the beginning of our wedding day to the end of the evening. David, Julio, and John managed to strike the perfect balance of making their presence known, while blending in perfectly (one of my friends had commented that most photographers & videographers she had seen at weddings were so loud and even disruptive). Not this team!!!! I will also be forever grateful for all the encouragement and helpful tips and pointers/direction that David and Julio provided throughout Friday and Saturday to make sure that everyone looked and felt their best while remaining confident in being themselves. I still have Julio’s voice in my head saying, “Work it!” I am so grateful that David and Julio were able to capture all the photos and videos on my extensive shot list, and then some!! My husband, our families, and I cannot wait to see these photos and videos - if the engagement shoot photos are any indication of what's to come, these photos and videos are going to be absolutely magnificent. David, Arthur, Julio, and Casey, thank you for everything! It has been such a pleasure working with you all. This past weekend felt like heaven on earth, and I’m so glad we chose you all to capture these memories we will cherish forever and ever. -Nicole & Kyle May 18, 2024

In the 1950s & 60s, The Bronx was home to an amazing photographer that captured weddings and family events. His name? Warren Meurer aka the “Silverfox” (due to his flowing silver and gray locks). Fast forward to the early 1990s, Warren’s grandson, John Salkowsky, decided to follow in his grandfather’s footsteps and open a wedding photography and video studio. When it came time to name this newly formed company, there was only ONE name it could possibly have – Silverfox Studios.

I have been working with Silver Fox Studios for more than 10 years. John and his team are professional, courteous, honorable and kind aside from being great photographers. It is a pleasure to work with the Silver Fox, they always go the extra mile for their clients and always work seamlessly with my team.

On most weekends you can find me, Robert ('Bobby'), photographing weddings—either in New York (where I lives) or farther a field: in various locations around the US and abroad. I find wedding ceremonies to be more than just a series of actions, people, and images to be “captured,” but rather recognizes them as events full of deep personal and cultural significance, particular to a specific time and place and community. As such, I assumes the responsibility of documenting these moments with great respect, believing them to be deserving of a discerning eye and an artistic hand.

We had the pleasure of meeting Bobby a few years ago when my sister got married. When we got engaged, he was the first vendor that we booked. Bobby is an incredibly professional and passionate photographer. His work captures every emotion of the day. What we love the most about Bobby is his calm demeanor and that he blends in with the crowd. He is really flexible and is willing to accommodate all needs. We are currently in the process of making our wedding album and it’s hard to choose the photos, as every one is better than the next. We are forever grateful to Bobby for capturing our special day.

The key to our service is investing in making your wedding day experience great. With this service in mind, we can create beautiful visual storytelling that is singular for you. Our name, Ein photo , embodies that mission. Eins (pronounced [aɪ̯ns]) means one in German, so Ein Photo means one photo. One has many meanings to it, the first, the best, but we look at it as the only one. One couple, with one story, told by one series of photos.

We met with several photographers and knew we wanted Tim and his team to be our photographer after our first meeting. My husband and I both don't really like having our pictures taken and thought our engagement photoshoot session was going to be filled with uncomfortable awkward poses and smiles. We were so wrong! Tim made us feel comfortable and easily directed us when needed. It ended up being a really fun hour and we loved how natural we looked in all of our pictures! For our wedding, Tim and his team arrived on time and captured all of our key moments. They were so efficient and easy to work with the entire day (and throughout this entire process)! I wasn't stressed at all and we LOVE how all of our pictures came out! Thank you SOO much Tim and Joseph! Ein Photography is the BEST and a must for your wedding day!!

We were above and beyond happy with our photos and couldn't wait for her to shoot our wedding. Our wedding day finally came around and OH. MY. GOD. Words cannot describe how absolutely beautiful our photos are! She knew exactly what I liked and somehow managed to capture all the little details and ALL THE LOVE perfectly! I've had multiple people tell me that her photos are the best they've ever seen! Every single one! There weren't just some good photos, they were ALL good! Sydney is very communicative, open to changes, easily reachable, and will work hard to make you happy! Thank you so much for allowing us to relive our perfect day! <3

Natural Expressions NY Photography and Videography is a boutique company, specializing in photography and cinematography. Our photography style blends natural fine art portraiture with the fashionable elegance of photojournalism. Matching our clients’ needs and desires, as well as exceeding their expectations are our main objectives.

Natural Expressions NY did an amazing job - we had the best experience working with Frank and Telmo for photography, and Alex for videography!! My now husband and I knew we wanted to work with Natural Expressions NY for our wedding because they captured my sister and brother in law’s wedding in 2015 so beautifully!! We worked with Frank leading up to the wedding, including creating our schedule for the day of. And trust me, I wasn’t easy - I had three separate first looks (with my dad, my bridesmaids and then of course my groom!). Frank and Telmo were our day of photographers and made sure everything ran smoothly and that we stayed on schedule! Frank and Telmo were also extremely fun to work with on our wedding day, and we felt so comfortable with them! The shots were so fun and creative, yet classic! The whole team is extremely responsive before and after the wedding, and very easy to work with as well. The photos are absolutely stunning and we are so happy with the finished product! I was so elated to receive our beautiful, extremely high quality wedding photos and video - definitely shed many happy tears reliving our day! We love Natural Expressions NY!!

It’s a pretty cool/weird thing when your hobby becomes your job, so I feel like I am still working on being a more well rounded human hobby-wise. I love hiking with my pup Tucker, bringing my hammock to the park with a good book, finding cool events happening in the city, making homemade milkshakes(you haven’t lived until you’ve made a pb&j milkshake with chocolate sauce. Stop reading and go do that now, you’ll thank me later), oh and watching way too much TV! It’s the golden age of television, so how can you not.

I believe photography is a snapshot of life, where a feeling is captured and magically stored in a timeless memory, a memory that can bring you back to that same instant, the excitement of a moment and cherish the tangible feeling of a photograph. I was born in Ecuador where I spent my childhood surrounded by the unconditional love of my abuelita, she now resides in heaven. I was always independent and silly in front of a camera. I wasn’t too much into playing with a camera and preferred to play in the garden, running around, catching butterflies and always excited to find a ladybug, aren’t they so pretty?

The communion of you and your love isn't just about exchanging rings. It's about filling your heart with the smile of the other, having to pour out tears without knowing the reason why. It's about understanding the language that the eyes speak. We celebrate the day we commit to sharing the tears of joy and sadness, and all the special moments in life, by saying 'I do'. We celebrate with the people, who have prepared us each step of the way, whether emotionally, intellectually or physically, for this very moment.

We checked out a few vendors that we found on The Knot, but we felt that Eivian’s was the best fit for us. The cost of the packages were very reasonable. From the first point of contact, each person that we had contact with, whether through email or text or phone conversation, everyone was kind and helpful. We chose a photographer from the list; we did not get that photographer but the guy that was chosen for us was the best photographer!! We could not have been a better match. He was so attentive to all our wants and requests and he took every shot we asked. We communicated a few days before the wedding & he was ready for the shots we requested. The proofs were sent to us quickly and we truly love every photo!!! We have already ordered our album and a group of prints! We can’t wait to share these beautiful photos with our friends and family.

Hey there!! My name is Marilyn and I'm so glad you're here ♡ I am a couples + wedding photographer based in New York City, and happy to travel to wherever your day is at! I've had pink hair for the last 6 years so at this point it has become a personality trait and I'm 100% okay with it. I love the outdoors, pat every dog I can, and thrive on ben and jerry's. My ideal place to be would likely be frolicking in wildflowers in a dress that's way too long, but the longer the better. The patio of my NYC apartment with a good book is a close second favorite though, for sure.

Awarded Best of Zola
I met Marilyn in college (how cool is that!) We were roommates in Freshman year in college where we both got to explore NYC and college life together. I would have to say that, after a few years, some of my most cherished memories of college are from Marilyn's photos. Through Marilyn's photos, you could always see that natural love from both the scenes she is capturing and from herself as an artist. I invited Marilyn to be my wedding photographer before I met my husband. I knew from years ago that Marilyn would make this day alpha special for me. And when the day came, it could not be more perfect <3 Definitely recommend Marilyn to everyone who is looking for natural beautiful photos filled with love and an exceptional experience!

I strive to make the world better by capturing love authentically, spreading positivity & happiness, and supporting organizations that are doing the work to preserve our planet & enrich the lives of marginalized communities. With my whole heart, I unapologetically embrace inclusivity & all forms of love.

Awarded Best of Zola
Words can't even describe how much of a gem Bailey is. She is really fun to be around and makes people feel at ease, while also being incredibly professional and meticulous in her work. She did my engagement shoot, entire wedding, a family photoshoot with my dog, and even my professional headshots- I've hired her several times over the past 5 years, and will keep hiring her! My husband and I typically feel so awkward posing for photos, but with Bailey that totally changes- she has gotten the most natural smiles and laughs and cute poses out of us. I was so nervous that I wouldn't like how I looked in my wedding photos, and when I got them all of that concern evaporated, and I was just beyond thrilled. Bailey can do it all, and somehow makes the process fun while achieving absolutely breathtaking photos. Her editing skills are off the charts too. We can't thank you enough Bailey!!

Documenting the REAL emotion of the day is how we capture those picture-perfect moments. They happen organically, not by force, and I promise you: we're not going to miss ANY of them. = )

Wow! Where to even start with Christopher and his team. From the moment we met Christopher there was a sense of comfort and assurance that we made the right decision. He is there for you the entire process to bounce ideas off of, and on wedding day is there ready to execute your vision and more. He is one of the vendors we have heard the most compliments on from a professionalism and uniqueness standpoint. He surpassed our expectations and then some. When I am not behind the camera or editing photos, I enjoy short Uber rides to bottomless brunch on the weekends; right now mimosas and I kinda have a thing going on! I have a special relationship with bourbon and FIRMLY believe in putting food on the grill during late afternoons should be the norm. I am blessed to be married to the happiest person on earth (I am so serious), who just happens to double as my favorite person. She keeps me grounded and never fails to remind me how great she is.

Awarded Best of Zola
Cesario was everything we could have hoped for and more! We first met over video chat to discuss what we were looking for in a photographer and chatted to get to know each other a bit. It only took a few minutes to realize that Cesario was perfect, very easy-going, had plenty of great ideas, and fun! We met for engagement photos several months before our wedding for which he did an excellent job! He provided us with the pictures much sooner than expected! Several months later, we got in touch as the wedding date was drawing closer to go over the details. Once the day arrived, he guided us through our first look pictures, some amazing portraits, and then captured the essence of the wedding and reception with ease. Wedding pictures were also delivered earlier than expected. 10/10 HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I could not be happier the I hired Thalia Photography for my wedding day. Thalia is truly amazing at what she does. Not to mention she is one of the sweetest people I have ever met. I was so scared picking a photographer. I had a hard time finding a photographer in my budget. thalia was one of the few who was closest to it, and still she worked with me on pricing which i was so grateful for. The options are endless out there, but as soon as i came across thalia’s page I knew I had to have her for my big day. Her photography style is gorgeous and she the process so easy from the moment I contacted her. She was quick to reply and really got to know us. She asked us to fill out a survey and we made sure we were a right fit for each other. I think thats super important and not all vendors do this. I am so not a photo person and neither is my husband, so we wanted someone who was okay with that and also could make us feel comfortable. From day one she did just that. She is such a professional but also has a comforting homey feel to her. I feel as if I have known her for so long. She fit right in with my bridal party from our stupid movie quotes to the music we played all day. It was honestly like having another friend in the bridal suite with us. My wedding was at a country club and i really did not want it to look like we were on a golf course and wow did she deliver. she was able to edit out every golfer in sight and let me tell you there were a lot that day. Once we got the photos, I was even more amazed by her. I am obsessed and have not stopped looking at them since i received them. If you are looking for an amazing photographer, look no further. Thalia basically does it all and im sure i will be using her in the future!

He was very flexible and very responsive to our needs. What stands out to me is how much he captured of our guests interactions that we weren't able to see or participate in because we were busy with so many other guests. When we look at the photos, we feel as though we are getting a 360 degree view of the event from the perspective of our guests. We were so pleased that we hired him the following year to photograph my mother's retirement party. I would highly recommend Sean!

Whether it was using a Polaroid as a kid, bringing the ole digital point & shoot along to the bars in college (until I dropped it in a vodka RedBull - RIP) or finally growing up & buying my first big girl DSLR in my early 20s, I have always had a flare for anything creative. I'm sure my parents wished I had a flare for performing heart surgery but here we are... I love travel & all things adventure/outdoors (Want to climb a mountain to elope? I'm your girl. Want to exchange vows in a National Park? I've been to 29, count me in).
