9:45 am - 12:00 pm
Traditional Attire
In Hinduism Lord Ganesha, or Ganapati, is the first God to be invoked as entrusted by Shiva. He is the God of prosperity, new beginnings and the remover of obstacles. And so, no Hindu ceremony commences without first inviting Lord Ganesh. This is a prayer which marks the offical start of our wedding rituals. It is a small affair with only a few attendees.
4:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Casual Attire
Think of this as Zoe's Indian Bridal Shower! The night before marriage, the girls gather to bless the Bride with positive spirits as she journeys into married life. It is customary for all guests to have mehendi (commonly known as henna) applied if they wish- you are all invited to take part in this cultural exchange.
11:30 am - 3:00 pm
Indian Attire, otherwise please dress appropriately for a religious service.
Our Hindu marriage ceremony will take place at the Shri Swaminayaran Temple. We ask for your presence as we formally join our two families together.
6:00 pm - 11:45 pm
Cocktail Attire (and dancing shoes)
This is the party to celebrate our marriage and to finish the weekend off with a bang! Please join us for food, drinks and dancing as we acknowledge this new chapter in our lives.
Ideally, we only want you to be happy and comfortable (but like, also look cool please). However for many of our guests it will be their first Indian event- we want to invite you all to share in the rich Indian culture by dressing traditionally if you would like do so. Please reach out to either Zoe or Paurav so we can guide on where to go for any pieces you may wish to purchase.
All food served over the three days will be vegetarian. If you have further dietary requirements (gluten free, vegan, allergies etc) please note them in your RSVP. Alcohol will not be served at the Wedding Ceremony.
This is a *moderately* child free event. We will make it known to you if your children are invited- otherwise no, they are not. Paurav hates them.
We ask for no boxed gifts please.
Please enter the first and last name of one member of your party below.
If you're responding for you and a guest (or your family), you'll be able to RSVP for your entire group on the next page.
