Our Story

We meet while Kayla was working at Sunset. Kayla seen CJ come in a few times and he knew LITTERALLY EVERYONE!! Started off as friends at first. Then after a month or so of hanging out CJ's charming personality got to Kayla. Started dating January 2020. Due to the Covid shut downs, lots of time spent together, especially since Kayla couldn't work one of her jobs. Then their relationship took off from there! Within the first year they got a crazy puppy (Kimber) in November 2020. Then decided about a year later to sell CJ's house and move into Kayla's house. Together we had 3 fur babies at the time. Then we decided to start planning a family! After about a year we were blessed to learn we were pregnant, January 2022! Then CJ decided to start his own business, February 2022! Daxton came to us a long (if you ask Kayla) 8 months later in September of 2022! Adjusting to a new one wasn't easy especially with us working different shifts! We made it work and cherished the time we had to spend together. Which probably made our relationship better. Then surprise we found out we were pregnant again in September 2023! On Mothers day, May 12th 2024 CJ finally asked Kayla to marry him to her surprise! All done in a typical CJ style! CJ gave the ring to Dax and told Dax to give it to mama. Kayla wasn't sure what Dax was giving her. When she felt it drop into her hand she looked down. Kayla's exact words were "What is this!" CJ responded "What do you think it is." Kayla responded " You sure you want to marry me? " Of course she said yes. After another long (if you ask Kayla) 9 months Makenna came along in June 2024. With 2 babies under 2, CJ owning his own business and Kayla work nights it was decided we needed career changes. Kayla got a new job and switched to days. Then CJ got a new job. With working lots of opposite and same days we make sure we cherish everyday off we have together! We make sure we make time for our two beautiful children and our 2 fur babies! We have lost many loved ones and friends during our years together. We are saddened they and others who had previously passed before we were together, can not join us for our wedding day. We do know all of them will be watching, cheering, and toasting to us from above. We could not make our wedding day happen if it wasn't for everyone we hold near and dear to our heart.

Schedule

What to expect on the wedding day. We have decided to keep our ceremony small and private. This will be for immediate family and wedding party only. Thank you for understanding. After a long discussion we have decided that, to be able to have as many family members and friends attend on our day. Children will not be allowed to attend. However, we have made the exception to have our own children and immediate family/wedding party's children to attend. So you may see a few children. But don't worry all the children will be gone by 7pm so the adults can relax and have fun!
