Question

What are the parking arrangements?

Answer

Parking at the actual venue is unavailable. Everyone should park at the Trinity Lutheran Church with an arrival time of no later than 4:15pm. This allows our designated drivers time to ensure all guests are shuttled to the venue and prevents the ceremony from being delayed. Last shuttle will run at 4:30pm.

Question

What is the desired attire for guests?

Answer

This is a semi-formal wedding. Please no shorts or t-tshirts. We also ask guests to not wear our wedding colors - white, black, green or gold.

Question

Can I take photos with my cell phone or camera?

Answer

Our ceremony will be completely unplugged. We have hired a professional wedding photographer to capture our ceremony - all guests are kindly asked to turn your cell phones and cameras off prior to the ceremony beginning. You can and we encourage you to take plenty of photos during the reception. In addition, a sign will be at each reception table with a qr code that guests can scan with their cell phone camera to upload and share the photos you take on our special day with us.

Question

Will there be formal photos?

Answer

Yes. Immediately after the ceremony, we ask that all guests remain at your seats to allow the wedding party to join everyone. Our photographer will take a few photos of everyone together. Once that is completed, wedding party members as well as parents/grandparents of the bride & groom are asked to join us for formal photos. We understand that aunts, uncles, cousins and others want to take a photo with us also, but in order to allow our photographer to do her job and in a timely manner, please proceed to the reception area to enjoy appetizers and beverages. We will be happy to take a photo with you later at the reception area.

Question

Are there bathrooms available?

Answer

Yes! We have rented bathrooms that will be located on-site for all guests to use.

Question

Is there anything else guests should know?

Answer

Please do not attempt to enter the house. Please do not go near the animals on the property. We ask that guests do not go upstairs into the loft area at the reception. Corn hole boards will be available for guests to play if you wish.

Question

Will there be food available for guests?

Answer

Yes! Appetizers and beverages will be available to guests immediately following the ceremony during the time the wedding party and parents/grandparents of the bride & groom are taking formal photos. At the reception, chicken and steak, potatoes, green beans and salad will be available. There will be a cake for the bride & groom. Once the bride & groom cut their cake, we encourage all guests to enjoy a cupcake.

Question

What beverages will be available?

Answer

Water Sweet Tea Lemonade Wine Beer We ask all guests, if drinking wine or beer, please drink responsibly.
