Enjoy the redwoods, river spots, and trails during the day. Then, get ready for the ceremony of ceremonies (starting at 4:30 p.m.) at Redwoods River Resort. After we are wed, there will be a cocktail hour with a few hors d'oeuvres, followed by dinner and dancing!

Leggett is in northwestern Mendocino County in the valley of the South Fork Eel River. U.S. Route 101 leads north from Leggett 22 miles to Garberville and 90 miles to Eureka, while to the south it leads 67 miles to Ukiah. California State Route 1 starts at US 101 in Leggett and leads southwest 27 miles to Westport on the Pacific Ocean.
Most people will be flying to SFO or OAK airports. For those on the more adventurous side, here's a list of other airports "nearby": Arcata, CA Sacramento, CA Santa Rosa, CA

There will be a welcome barbecue on Friday night, a dinner after the reception on Saturday, and a brunch on Sunday morning. Besides that, the Redwood River Resort has a pub on the grounds with an awesome menu for other meals during the day. Some lodgings on site have kitchens, and campsites are a free-for-all, so catcha fish and cook it up! Nearby grocery stores and other restaurant options are listed under the Things To Do tab.
Feeling adventurous? Want to live on four wheels? There are plenty of spaces available. Check out rvezy.com, and let us know if you plan on doing so.
For food and beverages other than the planned meals and events, you can bring your own groceries, beverages, alcohol, barbecue, camping, and campfire supplies. Other than the planned events, do your thing, feel free, be yourself.
It's gonna be hot. The average temperature in Leggett during August is in the mid 80's.
Yes. There are swimming holes in the Eel River next to the resort that we plan to spend some time at on Saturday. There's also a swimming pool on site.
