Let’s flashback to late 2020/early 2021. There was just a bunch of people hired at the Bel Air grocery store I worked at. To be more specific, several courtesy clerks were hired. At the time, I was the Assistant Produce Manager. This is me Zach, by the way. This will be in my perspective. I remember going by the aisles in the store and more often than not, this male courtesy clerk(Augie) would be looking at me. I would then go back to the produce department and tell my team that I thought one of the new courtesy clerks might be gay cause he was always checking me out. Then I said what would be known as famous last words. He’s not my type. It’s never gonna happen. He reached out to me on an app that will not be named. We started talking, then hanging out, and we got along pretty well. My mom suggested we should date since we got along so well. I took time to think about that and came to the same conclusion. On March 9th 2021 we officially got together. Flash forward to December 2023, I decided it was time to propose to Augustus. I knew he was the one since day 1! As time went by, I was reassured every step of the way that I was right. I couldn’t have asked for a better partner. I love Augie so much and I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with him. So, the proposal went like this. We were living at Augie’s friend’s house at the time. I hid the ring under the Christmas tree. He looked for it, found it, and then I proposed. Obviously we all know by now that he said yes!! I can’t wait to see what the future holds for us 👨‍❤️‍👨
