When did you get engaged?

Zack proposed to Elizabeth on February 28th on a trip to Washington D.C. shortly after Elizabeth took the North Carolina Bar Exam.

Why did you choose to elope?

Answer

While we love and cherish our family and friends dearly, we decided that we wanted this moment to be a private celebration between the two of us! It felt incredibly special to say our vows in one of the most remote places in the United States, where we could truly appreciate both the moment and each other.

What are your honeymoon plans?

Answer

While we are still deciding on our exact plans, we intend to take a trip in the spring or summer of 2027. If you have any destination suggestions, please let us know!

Will there be a celebration or party?

We have a busy summer schedule but would love to celebrate with family and friends. While a party is not currently planned, we will let you know if something changes.

Are you planning on having any children?

No! We both enjoy our current lifestyle and do not plan on having children.

What is going on in your lives right now?

Elizabeth has graduated from Elon Law School and has passed the North Carolina Bar Exam. She is currently working for the American Society of Travel Advisors as Corporate Council. Zack continues to work for the North Carolina Department of Environmental Quality. We currently live in Winston-Salem where we enjoy hiking, camping, and visiting family and friends.
