Both the ceremony and reception will be outdoors so be sure to dress for the weather! Also, the grass can be soft, so maybe rethink stilettos! We will have a few heated lamps but bring layers just in case!
There will be woodfired pizza, drinks, and yard games! So excited to see you all. There will be an open bar for beer and wine the entire day and evening. If you wish to order cocktails, seltzers, etc - cash will be required at bar!

Flight Information
The Minneapolis / St. Paul International Airport (MSP) is located about 3 hours from the venue. There will likely be more flight options from this airport. The Hector International Airport (FAR) is located just over an hour from the venue. You will likely have a connecting flight through MSP or Chicago if you choose to fly here.

Parking Information
There will be parking about .25 miles from the venue right before you enter the Island peninsula. Signs will be directing you! Please arrive 30 min early to allow for time to walk from your car to the ceremony location. We will also have a golf cart and car for shuttling folks from the parking lot, if needed. UBER IS LIMITED IN THE AREA so be sure to plan ahead. We'll have a car to shuttle folks back from the reception space to their cars in the parking lot (.25 mi away) - this is primarily for those that need extra assistance!

Thumper Pond Resort
We will have a block of rooms available for guests. This resort is located about 20 minutes from the venue. Block of rooms under MCGNEL! Give them a call and you should be good to go! The sooner the better on booking a place to stay! It's a holiday weekend!

Glendalough State Park
This state park is a hidden gem in west-central Minnesota. There are tons of super cool trails for hiking and biking. You can also rent canoes, kayaks, or paddleboards to explore the chain of lakes! The water is crystal clear so it's a gorgeous spot to swim at the sandy Annie Battle Lake Beach.
Battle Lake Boathouse
Downtown Battle Lake has awesome restaurants within 10 minutes of the venue. Our wedding coordinator (who's from the area) recommended the Battle lake Boat House, Never Better, and Stellas! Depending on where you guys book your stay, Otter Tail also has a TON of fun options for food / drinks (aka ZORBAZ - a MN fan favorite)

Is there parking available at the venue?

If your invitation includes a plus-one, they'll be listed on your RSVP. We wish we could invite everyone but the island has a limit!

Answer
No! It will be open bar for beer and wine starting at the cocktail hour through the end of the night. If you wish to order specialty cocktails and other mix drinks, cash will be required!
