I (Melina) love all things spooky- witches, vampires, murder mystery’s, & voodoo. Because of this - New Orleans, Louisiana has been on my bucket list and dream vacation for years and years. Zach and I had planned to go halloween of 2021, but the hurricane damaged large parts of NOLA and canceled our plans so instead we went the next halloween. We had been in New Orleans for four days and on our last and final day- Zach got down on one knee between the Mississippi River and the oldest cathedral in the United States (built in 1720) and made my dream vacation a dream come true!
