What’s the dress code?

Answer

The dress code is Black Tie Optional/Formal. To complement the morning setting, we kindly ask guests to wear warm-colored earthy neutral attire. For dresses, other than the color scheme above, muted green/olive, blush/mauve/dusty rose are preferred; For suits, if you don't have the color above, sand/khahi/nude/stone are also encouraged. Where is the ceremony taking place exactly?

Answer

The ceremony will be held at the Summerhouse at the Dene, a charming rustic gazebo nestled in a serene corner of Central Park. It’s an outdoor space surrounded by greenery. The closest park entrance is at Fifth Avenue & East 65th Street—we recommend allowing a few extra minutes for a short walk from the entrance to the site.

When should I arrive?

Our wedding planner will arrive around 8:45 AM to begin setup, and due to videography preparations, we kindly ask guests to arrive 9AM - 9:15AM. Thank you so much for rising early to celebrate with us! It means the world to us to share this quiet, golden moment under the first sunshine in Central Park. 🌞💛 🎥💐

Will there be seating at the ceremony?

Answer

Central Park does not permit chairs, tables or elaborate setups, so the ceremony will be simple and mostly standing, with very limited seating available for those who need it. We recommend wearing comfortable shoes for the outdoors. Transparent umbrellas are allowed in case of light rain!

How long will the ceremony last?

Answer

The ceremony will conclude around 10:00 AM, followed by group photos with our guests until approximately 10:30 AM.

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

Following the ceremony and group photos, we'll be taking couple portraits with our photographers. In the meantime, feel free to make your way to the reception venue or relax nearby. More details and directions will be provided on the day.

Will food be served?

Answer

Yes if you RSVP for the Lunch reception! We’re treating everyone to a prix fixe Chinese lunch in a private dining room with a beautiful vintage Chinese vibe. The food will be served shortly after all guests have arrived — we hope you enjoy it!

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

Parking is limited in NYC — we highly recommend using public transportation or rideshare apps.

Can I bring a physical gift to the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly suggest it is better not to bring large, heavy or delicate physical gifts to the ceremony, as space is very limited.
