I met Leo in June 2023 when I came to Fort Myers and stayed at his pastors' house, Leandro and Larissa (who would later become my pastors as well 🤍). I remember that we just greeted each other from afar, but nothing more than that ( but man! who would have thought that a year later we would be together right?). At that time, I was living in California and I wasn't thinking about moving to another state, but God had different plans for me, and I thank God for His perfect plans. So fast forward I ended up moving to Florida in January 2024 and was hired by his pastors to be working at Lagoinha Church where Leo was already on staff. We weren't very close; we only talked about church stuff and work in general. But I have to confess that there was something about him that moved my heart in some way, I remember that I would look at him sometimes and there was something there but I couldn’t explain what was it .. Looking back I think it was his calm and peaceful way of talking to people and there was also something about his eyes, but it was def the fact that is a good man . In the Bible, there’s a verse in Luke 6 that says "A good man brings good things out of the goodness stored in his heart," and that was what I always have seen in him! I felt attracted to his beautiful and good heart. Then, one beautiful day at the end of April, Leo sent me a message asking if I was getting to know someone. I was a bit confused because I thought that question was very suspicious, but I ended up replying saying that I wasn’t and the rest is history haha we went out the day after and we decided to pray for 7 weeks because he wanted to seek the Lord but after the first date I already wanted to run into his arms, hahah . And during all of those 7 weeks, the more we spent time together, and seek the Lord together the more we understood that we were meant to be. Leo is everything that I expected and even more that I wished for . We are so blessed by the Lord, and He is the reason we are together, he then proposed not long after we decided to start dating and I said yes with a grateful heart and with the assurance that we are the best decision we have ever made. Our yes to each other is only the beginning and we are happy to share this moment and our story with you ❤️ -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Eu e o Léo nos conhecemos em junho de 2024 quando eu vim pra Fort Myers e fiquei hospedada na casa dos pastores dele Leandro e Larissa ( que logo depois se tornariam meus pastores também 🤍 ) Eu lembro de gente ter se cumprimentado assim de longe mas nada de mais ( quem diria né que um ano depois estaríamos juntos ? ) Na época eu morava na Califórnia e não pensava em me mudar pra outro Estado , mas Deus tinha planos diferentes pra mim e graças a Deus pelos planos perfeitos do Senhor . Eu acabei me mudando pra Flórida em Janeiro de 2024 e fui contratada pela Lagoinha onde o Léo já era staff , nós não éramos muito próximos só conversávamos as coisas da igreja mesmo , trabalho em geral , mas confesso que existia algo sobre ele que mexia comigo de alguma forma , acho que o jeito calmo e pacificador e com certeza o fato dele ser um cara gentil e bondoso . Na Bíblia fala que “O homem bom tira boas coisas da bondade que entesoura no coração” e é isso que sempre vi nele ! Enfim um belo dia final de abril o Léo manda uma mensagem pra mim perguntando se eu estava orando ou conversando com alguém , achei meio suspeito, mas respondi hahah e daí então saímos , decidimos orar por 7 semanas porque ele quis , eu já queria correr pro abraço né mas honrei o coração e vontade dele haha . E durante essas 7 semanas quanto mais passávamos tempo juntos mais a gente entendia que o Senhor estava nos abençoando , então começamos a namorar e agora decidimos dar esse passo tão importante !! Estamos confiantes que esse é só o começo e estamos felizes de compartilhar esse momento e a nossa história com vcs ❤️
