As we celebrate our love, we’d love your support in creating memories that keep our flame burning bright. Instead of traditional gifts, we’ve set up cash funds for a dream honeymoon, exciting experiences, and little luxuries to help us recharge—because let’s be honest, parenting two toddlers is exhausting! Your contribution will not only bring us joy but also give us precious moments to reconnect and keep the romance alive

Wedding Party

Yanique Levy

Bride

**Meet the Bride** A fun-loving, genuine, and authentic soul, she is a quiet beauty with an adventurous spirit. As a devoted mother to two energetic toddlers, she balances strength and understanding with effortless grace. She’s also the glue that holds everything together—without her, things would probably fall apart (literally and figuratively) In a past life, she was undoubtedly a track star—literally! Fun fact: she competed in multiple events track and field for Jamaica. But her achievements don’t stop there—she’s also a Doctor of Psychology and head of Psychology at a hospital in Florida where she also trains students and interns, combining her sharp intellect with a deep passion for helping others. With a love for all things sparkly and an undeniable fondness for “Brown” 😉, she brings a perfect mix of elegance and love to every moment. She’s the heart of this celebration, and we can’t wait for you to celebrate this special day with her!

Miguel-Anthony Brown

Groom

Miguel-Anthony “Paris” Brown is a man of many talents—some inherited, some acquired, and others just straight-up gifted (like his ability to make everyone laugh in school while still acing his exams). Born in the beautiful parish of St. Ann, Jamaica, he took his talents to Northern New Jersey at the age of nine, where he quickly became a force to be reckoned with. Captain of the track team, first-chair musician in the trumpet section for four straight years, voted both Class Clown and Most Popular—yet somehow still managed to graduate with honors. His academic journey took him through Oakwood University, Alabama A&M, and Miami Dade College, where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Cybersecurity—proving he’s not just good at protecting networks, but also fully qualified to keep his future wife and wifi secure from any unwanted interference! 😉 Speaking of which, the moment he met Yanique, for him time stood still—right before his wallet started moving. Turning to his best friend, he famously declared, “I think I’m going to have an expensive conversation with that girl.” And true to his word, he’s been making payments ever since! But as a proud father of four incredible children, ranging from a toddler to a young adult, Miguel-Anthony knows that the best investments in life are the ones that come with love, laughter, and just a tiny bit of financial sacrifice.

Yashima Lawrence

Matron of Honor

Yash – Senior Scrum Master (Not to be confused with Scum 😅)! Yashima and I met in 2005 when we both started working at a bank in Jamaica, and let’s just say—she basically became my weekend roommate! From then on, we’ve been best girls, sharing countless life experiences, shedding a few tears, and always having each other’s backs. Our love and friendship have never wavered. Now, she’s out here killing it in banking as a project manager, leader and a boss—because, of course, she’s always been destined for greatness!

Shantell “Shanz” Hill-Afonso

Bridesmaid

**Shanz – Marketing Maven & Mastermind!** Shanz and I met in 2004 at the University of Technology—while I was clearly conducting very important business! 😆 From day one, her love for music, sports, and all things marketing was undeniable. She’s a true trendsetter, always coming up with bold ideas—and, of course, dragging me along for the ride! Fun fact: We once worked backstage at SUMFEST together, repping one of the hottest music labels at the time. Talk about a VIP experience! Fun fact- Shanz is a K-Pop girlie

Morgan Wangia

Bridesmaid

Morgan – my partner in psychology and Miami adventures! Morgan and I met in 2013 while we were both knee-deep in our doctorate program in Psychology. We studied together, shed many (many!) tears together, and somehow survived it all. She also took it upon herself to introduce me to Miami culture and make sure I experienced the social scene properly—so if I ever seemed too cool, you can thank her! She’s been looking out for me ever since. Fun fact: Morgan now runs a dermatology business with her husband right here in Florida—because, of course, she’s always been about helping people glow!

Janelle Cave

Bridesmaid

**Janelle – producer extraordinaire!** I met Jan in 2013 during a very vulnerable time in my life, and from that moment, she became a pillar of support. She has been by my side ever since—praying for me, guiding me, and loving me like a sister. Her kindness, wisdom, and unwavering presence mean the world to me. Oh, and fun fact—I personally take full credit for her meeting her husband, Clint! (You’re welcome, Jan!) Also, I’m sure many of you have watched videos and shows she has produced over the years!

Kevin Nolan

Groomsman

Kevin Nolan, the groom’s brother, was born in Clarendon, Jamaica, and later moved to New York and New Jersey, where he and his brother attended Dwight Morrow High School. After graduating, he pursued his undergraduate studies at the University of Maryland before earning his law degree at UNC Chapel Hill, where he also met the love of his life. Through hard work and dedication, Kevin rose through the ranks to become a partner at his firm, establishing himself as one of Texas’ top Black lawyers. Beyond his professional success, he takes the most pride in being a devoted “girl dad” to his two wonderful daughters, Maya and Eliana.

Charleson Canis

Groomsman

Charleson Canis, the groom’s best friend, is a proud graduate of Miami Dade College with a degree in Business Management. Now a finance manager at TD Bank, he brings the same passion and determination to his career as he does to his heritage. Never missing a chance to share history, Charleson proudly reminds everyone that his Haitian ancestors fought alongside Jamaican Maroons to drive the British from the Caribbean. Beyond his professional and cultural pride, his greatest joy comes from being a devoted father to his two beautiful daughters, Laila and Londyn.

Valerie Levy

Mother of the Bride

Valerie, Mrs. Levy, Val, otherwise known as Mommy. A quiet beauty, just like her daughter. A woman whose strength, grace, and unwavering support have shaped the incredible bride. A silent warrior in every sense, she has stood behind Yanique, offering love, guidance, and resilience without ever seeking the spotlight. She is the source of half of Yanique’s beauty and confidence, a testament to the power of both nature and nurture. Spontaneous and always up for a good—yet responsible—time, she brings joy and warmth to every room she enters. Please join me in welcoming the remarkable mother of the bride!

Ruth Hall

Mother of the Groom

Ruth James-Hall, the groom’s mother, was born in the Mines District of St. Ann, Jamaica. A true free spirit, her warm and charismatic personality has endeared her to everyone she meets, forging lifelong friendships along the way. She started her education West Indies College High School. After graduating, she attended Northern Caribbean University (formally known as West Indies College in Mandeville. Ruth then migrated to the United States, where she built a successful career in the telecommunications industry in New Jersey. Later, she moved to Atlanta, where she remarried and embraced her passion for nurturing young minds by starting a daycare business. Deeply devoted to her faith, she remains an active and cherished member of her church community.

Trevor Levy

Father of the Bride

Trevor, Trev, aka Daddy- Ladies and gentlemen, it is my privilege to introduce a man whose presence, wisdom, and unwavering support have played an invaluable role in Yanique’s life. The other half of her beauty and charm comes directly from him, a reflection of the strength and warmth he has always shared. A devoted father, he never missed a track meet, cheering her on with pride and encouragement every step of the way. Known as everyone’s guide and a wellspring of knowledge, he is the person people turn to for wisdom, direction, and a steady hand.
