We look forward to seeing you!
Caroline's Story: It's not your modern day love story, but it sure is one we will always love to tell. I had just wrapped up shopping with Mom, of course, and we headed down to Dead End BBQ for dinner. It was the end of a long work day so I had my hair up in a messy ponytail, my red cowgirl boots on, and my glasses chain on my glasses - a real sight to see, or at least Wyatt thought so. ;) He was our waiter and him and I had the best banter, still do. I wasn't looking for a relationship but that seems to be when the right one comes into your life, and boy did he. At the end of our meal he brought our receipt and at the top it said, 'Thank y'all! *his phone number* - Wyatt' - my Mom was super excited that such a cute guy was hitting on her. (That's still the joke to this day.) By the time I read it and looked up, he had taken off back to the kitchen. He was so handsome, funny, but really (and I mean really) sweet. But me, the southern head strong girl my parents prayed for, opened up the receipt book and wrote, 'No, thank you! *my phone number* -Caroline,' because if he wanted to talk to me he would - am I right, girls?! Well, he did and ever since we have spent every waking second together creating memories that will last a lifetime, a love that draws us closer day-by-day, and a friendship that is irreplaceable. Wyatt's Story: I was serving one of my regular shifts during school on a random Thursday night in August and this really cute girl sat down at one of my tables. It was her and her mom. I walked up and did my normal greeting and asked how they were and she said "just peachy" in a sassy and sarcastic way and I said "yeah... I get it, my back hurts." They then asked me if I wanted to sit down with them, and at this point, I was intrigued. I, of course, opted to sit next to the cute girl with her bright red cowgirl boots and glasses chain. I had to know more. We hit it off extremely fast and toward the end of their time at my table I had the brilliant idea to write my number on their receipt. I was scared to death as this was probably (definitely) the most bold thing I had done to date. I asked them if they needed anything else and then dropped off the receipt. My heart was racing so I turned tail and ran back into the kitchen. I peeked through the window and watched as her mom picked it up and my heart dropped; I thought she wouldn't show Caroline. They eventually left and I ran back to the table to assess the damage to my confidence and discovered that this cute, sassy, clever girl had outsmarted me. She wrote HER number down so I had to text her first. The ball was now in my court. That night we texted a little but the next day she asked me to come out with her and a couple of her friends. We talked for probably 8 hours straight that night. We have not stopped talking to each other since that moment and I wouldn't have it any other way. This woman that I am going to marry is perfect for me and we can't wait to share our special day with you!
