How We Met
It all started with a mutual right swipe on Tinder in 2019. From there, we met at the Stockyard Restaurant in Brighton for drinks. A couple more dates later, a global pandemic and a move from Boston to Austin convinced us we were meant to spend forever together.
The Proposal
On a trip back to Boston for a friend's wedding, Brandon made dinner reservations at the Stockyard, immediately tipping Molly off that something was up. Sure enough, right before dessert, Brandon asked Molly to marry him. It was one of the four times Brandon has seen Molly cry. We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you in our adopted hometown of Austin. See y'all in Texas!

We recommend flying into the Austin airport, as it's only 20 min from downtown. For those looking for more of a road trip, the San Antonio Airport is about 1.5 hours away.

As an alternative to staying downtown, this is about the halfway point between downtown and our venue. There are several other hotels in the immediate area that all have great freeway access and are centrally located to the airport, the venue, and downtown, with each being within a 10-15 minute drive.

Our favorite Texas swimming hole, nestled in the heart of Austin, offers a refreshing escape with its natural spring-fed waters, and shaded areas.
Comedy Mothership
For those who enjoy live comedy, this is the global epicenter of live comedy in 2024. Joe Rogan's Comedy Mothership is the home of the Kill Tony Podcast, frequented by A-List comedians Joe Rogan, Ron White, Tony Hinchcliffe, David Lucas, Shane Gillis, and many, many, more. To secure tickets to a show, watch the ComedyMothership instagram account a few weeks ahead and again on Sunday morning the week of your trip. They announce headlining traveling acts there a few weeks in advance and all of the remaining shows around 10am the Sunday before the shows. Tickets go on sale on their website only at 2PM Central Time on Sundays the week of the show. So in this case, you'd want to check out the Comedy Mothership website on Sunday October 20th, at 2PM CT to secure tickets for that week. They sell out in minutes, but are well worth it.

Formula 1 will be in Austin October 18th - 20th for those who want to start their celebrations early at the racetrack.
Austin Bat Bridge
One of Austin's wildest features is the 1.5 million Mexican Free-tailed bats who make their home in the bowels of the Congress Ave Bridge. On warm, dry nights, just after sunset. The best place to catch a glimpse is adjacent to the Austin American Statesman parking lot. The bats are in Austin through mid-November, when they return to winter in Mexico.
