Once upon a time.... in the world of dating apps, Will and I swiped right! A wintery date to a U-Cut Christmas tree farm, and then we were "together". A few months later, we were "getting serious"- Now, a few years later, we're getting married!
So glad you asked! The ceremony will kick off at 5:30pm, and will be at: 15505 SE Ten Eyck Rd, Sandy, OR 97055 (or, punch in "Knoll Crest Gardens" on that GPS) Parking will be through the first gate on the property as you're coming from town, and will be clearly marked with our names.
We want everyone to be comfortable and relaxed, so we're shooting for a very casual "backyard wedding" vibe. Your "nice jeans" or some khakis (or a nice pair of shorts- it's summer after all!), and some kind of button-down or collared shirt is perfect for the guys. Girls, we're sure you'll all look great, so feel free to wear your favorite jeans and polo shirt too! (Just kidding- but seriously, a sundress or whatever is fashionable is great... we wouldn't know)
We initially wanted this to be a wedding without kiddos, but we've realized this would create a situation where some of our family and favorite people couldn't come, or stay as long as they wanted- and that's a bummer! We would still encourage you to find childcare and treat it like a date night if you can; but bringing your kids is perfectly ok!
Unfortunately- no. Our venue has a policy against bringing your own alcohol, and against hard alcohol in general- so please refrain from doing so. We'll have plenty of beer/cider etc. on-hand for everyone to enjoy... Remember, it tastes better when it's free!
Let's be real- I don't think this is a "FAQ", but- we got a fancy-schmancy cloud-storage account just for our wedding, and we're proud of it! So we're going to shamelessly advertise it here!
