A Little Bit About Us

First date: Mini Golf! Lizzy won, but Wesley claims he let her win.. Favorite Trips Together: Wesley- Camping and visiting Oktoberfest in 2023, this was also the first trip we took together! Lizzy- Relaxing on the beach in the Dominican Republic with our friends. First "I Love You": Korean Karaoke- After an off-key rendition of a Backstreet Boys song (and a bit of Soju), Lizzy said it first. Favorite Shared Hobbies: Playing catch at Piedmont Park, rock climbing, and video games.

Beach Ceremony with Reception to Follow

4:30 pm - 10:00 pm

Attire Suggestions: Coastal Chic. Think breezy dresses in natural colors or coastal tones. Linen pants or chinos with a relaxed blazer or button down.

The ceremony will take place directly on the beach- please plan your shoes accordingly. Dancing at the reception will take place on a wooden deck, so stilettos are not recommended.

Travel

Getting There: The closest airport to Tybee Island is Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport (SAV). From the airport, Tybee is a 45-50minute drive. Where to Stay: Tybee Island is a small beach town with limited hotels, so we recommend booking lodging early. Many guests may find Airbnb or vacation rentals to be the best option, especially if travelling with a group. Another option is to stay in Savannah, GA, which is roughly a 25-30 minute drive from Tybee Island. **Important Travel Note** Tybee Island is hosting the Tybee Pirate Festival all weekend. This could impact travel times from Savannah to Tybee, as the bridge to get to the island can get congested from large events. Please plan to arrive to Tybee early on Sunday to avoid potential delays.
