Meet Us in the Mountains

We met on Sweetest Day in the fall of 2020—a time when life slowed down and home felt more important than ever. That day quickly became one of the most meaningful in our lives. While we didn’t officially start dating right away, we’ve always considered Sweetest Day to be OUR day—the moment everything changed. From the very beginning, we couldn’t get enough of each other. That’s why, 8 years later, we are inviting you to celebrate with us, on Sweetest Day 2028. We hope you’ll join us in Colorado from Thursday, October 19th to Sunday, October 22nd, for a fun wedding weekend getaway. The ceremony will take place near the mountains in Black Hawk, Colorado, and we’ll be staying nearby in Idaho Springs. Our after party reception will be held at our Airbnb called The Luna Dome in Idaho Springs (google it, or look at the image below — it’s gorgeous). We’d love for you to stay nearby to be close to the festivities, but you’re welcome to choose accommodations anywhere. Denver is just an hour east, and that’s also where the closest airport is located. We’ll be arriving in Colorado (Colorado Springs) on October 16th and plan to stay a week or so after the wedding (near Breckinridge, Aspen, or Fort Collins area) to explore nearby cities, mountains, hot springs, hikes, breweries, and more. We’ll be posting our full itinerary and travel plans once everything is confirmed—so feel free to join us and start making your own plans too! We can’t wait to celebrate with you and kick off our next big adventure—starting Sweetest Day, where it all began.
