Thank you for celebrating with us!! The day was practically perfect in every way (ala Mary Poppins--despite the rain!) We will keep our website/registry up for now, and will take it down at a later date. We thank you all for your presence and generosity!
July 31, 2023 was like any other Monday night, when Michelle came home from work late. As Michelle helped herself to dinner, she and Jeremy talked about their days, as they typically did. Jeremy eventually disappeared upstairs and quickly came down with a box for Michelle. In the box was a beautiful watch, which Jeremy told Michelle was her engagement gift, and he would like her to pick out her ring. Together, over the next several weeks, Jeremy and Michelle looked at rings and picked one out together.

Travel Note
**FOR ALL THOSE FLYING TO THE SEATTLE AREA - It looks like the real ID act may actually go into effect May 7, 2025. So please make sure you bring a passport or enhanced drivers license/real ID to the airport! We would hate for you to miss the festivities because of this change!
Flight
The closest airport to the venue is Seattle-Tacoma International airport. It is about 30 minutes away.
Hotel
This hotel is about 30 minutes north of the airport. It is 20 minutes from the venue. We have a block of 20 rooms reserved here that can be booked at a discounted price up to 30 days before the wedding date, at which point the rooms will be turned back to the general inventory and the discount will no longer be valid. This hotel is a little further from the airport, but also about 20 minutes from the wedding venue. It may be good for guests looking for a little higher price point.
For those choosing to stay at the Salish Lodge, these falls are right there. The Snoqualmie Falls Hydroelectric Plant is also at Snoqualmie Falls, currently operated by Puget Sound Energy.
The Space Needle is an observation tower in Seattle, Washington, United States. Considered to be an icon of the city, it has been designated a Seattle landmark.
Pike Place Market is a public market in Seattle, Washington, United States. It opened on August 17, 1907, and is one of the oldest continuously operated public farmers' markets in the United States. When Jeremy lived in downtown Seattle, Michelle and Jeremy used to walk to Pike Place Market frequently to buy ingredients for dinner. If you go, make sure you stay long enough to see someone buy a fish (or buy one yourself!), and the workers sing a song and throw the fish around to each other. This is Michelle's favorite part of the market!
Chihuly Garden and Glass is an exhibit in the Seattle Center directly next to the Space Needle, showcasing the studio glass of Dale Chihuly. It opened in May 2012 at the former site of the defunct Fun Forest amusement park. The project features three primary components: the Garden, the Glasshouse, and the Interior Exhibits.
The Central Waterfront of Seattle, Washington, United States, is the most urbanized portion of the Elliott Bay shore. It runs from the Pioneer Square shore roughly northwest past Downtown Seattle and Belltown, ending at the Broad Street site of the Olympic Sculpture Park. There are several parks, a Ferris wheel, an aquarium, and one over-water hotel.
Woodinville wine country is situated around the city of Woodinville, approximately 30 minutes to an hour driving time from downtown Seattle (depending on traffic). We include this as Jeremy and Michelle moved in Woodinville in November 2023 and have thoroughly enjoyed trying new wineries around the area. Two of our favorites are Sparkman Cellars and Delille Cellars for their excellent wine and easy parking!
We might suggest cocktail attire. However, you might want to keep in mind that the event is taking place on a farm, where there will (God willing) be horses in their pasture right behind the ceremony! Weather permitting (Please cross your fingers for us!), the ceremony will also be held on grass outside. The reception will be indoors, regardless of the weather.
Yes! Please see the Travel section of this web page.
This is a difficult question to answer. The weather could be 70 degrees and sunny, or 50 and raining. And everywhere in between. (Michelle was very attentive to the weather in May in 2024–May 15th was the 70 and sunny version. The actual May 17th was a little cooler and grayer 🤷♀️) We are praying for sun, but sadly that is not up to us! If necessary the ceremony can be held indoors, but we’d love it to be in the beautiful field outside! We’d suggest checking the forecast closer to the event.
