We initially met while boating on Okauchee Lake in Wisconsin in 2016. We became friends and were both in relationships with other people. Fast-forward to 2019... we ran into each other over Memorial Day weekend (of course, boating again on Okauchee), and surprise, both single! It's true what they say; timing is everything in life.

We were anticipating our upcoming move to Florida and decided we wanted to gather our friends for a proper farewell. It was a beautiful Saturday evening in September in Milwaukee, WI and the sun was just starting to set. The views were amazing on the rooftop of the Kimpton Hotel and while a little breezy, we all welcomed the fresh air after being cooped up for the past year and a half. We were enjoying our time with our friends when Adam decided to pop the question. Suddenly, our farewell became an engagement celebration with some of our closest friends! It couldn't have been a more perfect moment!

As we have traveled and explored over the years, we always seek out local restaurants, hotels, and things to do around the area we visit. We fully embrace the local environment. When we moved to Florida, we knew we wanted to get married near our new home. We look forward to celebrating our love locally with dear friends and family in November!
