We met in grade school at the first track practice of the year, roughly 5th or 6th grade, our schools co-opted for sports so we had never seen each other before. I was being introduced to a couple of people from the Ashley Grade school, when we made eye contact, I instantly got a little crush on him, we became really good friends we would spend hours talking on the phone everyday, and I could always count on him for anything, we talked about anything and everything under the sun. Even after I moved we stayed in contact for the most part, there’s a few years in high school that we didn’t talk much, but once we started hanging out again It was like no time had passed.

September 13th, He had been working the Night Shift for the Fall outage, so we hadn’t been able to spend a lot of time together. I would go wake him up, and spend time with him while he got ready to go to work every evening. We would just talk about our days and just try to catch up and enjoy the time we had with one another. This day he seemed extra energetic, I was laying in Bed and he came and laid by me, with a huge grin on his face he says, “Your Ring came in, Wanna see it?” He jumps up from the bed and pulls it out of his hiding spot in the closet. I say I don’t want to see it unless he is asking, I don’t wanna ruin the surprise! He opens the Box and shows me, then asks if I’ll marry him, I Say Yes of course! We soaked up the moment and before I knew it, it was time for him to head into work. I wouldn’t have wanted him to ask any other way, it truly was perfectly us. We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you. See you in October!
