What time should I plan to arrive?

Answer

Please plan to arrive in time for the ceremony by 3:20PM. The ceremony will begin promptly. It takes approximately 30 minutes from downtown to the venue.

What is weather like in Late-March in Austin?

Answer

The average temperature is a high of the mid-70's, around 73-75 degrees Fahrenheit (with moderate humidity) and a low of mid 50's, around 55 degrees Fahrenheit. Since the reception is taking place in the evening, we recommend bringing a warm layer.

Where is the ceremony and reception?

Answer

The ceremony and reception are in the same location. It is located at Bear Creek Retreat, 13813 Carpenter Ln, Manchaca, TX 78652. From downtown, this will take approximately 30 minutes. However, please keep in mind Austin's traffic. We recommend leaving for the venue if located Downtown or South Congress by 2:45pm.

Can we bring children?

Answer

Children that are formally addressed in the wedding invitations are invited. We thank you for your understanding.

What is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code is semi-formal, which means you are welcome to wear a suit or midi /floor-length dress, or opt for a pantsuit or knee-length dress. Please note that the festivities will be in an outdoor environment, on grass, so it is highly recommended to wear comfortable shoes (no stilettos, please) along with a warm layer.

Can I bring additional guests not listed in the RSVP?

Answer

We wish we could welcome everyone; however, due to the guest number restrictions, only those formally addressed on the invitation and available for RSVP are invited to join for the ceremony and dinner reception. Our sincerest gratitude to everyone for your understanding!

What about parking?

Parking is free at the venue. Although, we *highly* recommend rideshare, if possible.
