How they came to be

Jimmy and Destiny’s journey began in kindergarten at Deale Elementary. They both played the cello in third grade. Jimmy moved away in fourth grade and Destiny hadn’t even noticed. Haha! Fast forward to 8th grade, Facebook was newly born. Jimmy added Destiny as a friend. He sent her some messages but Destiny didn’t pay him any mind. Years go by, no interactions. Then, 2019 Jimmy moves back to Maryland. In 2021 Destiny joins Bumble, the dating site where the lady has to message the gentleman first. Destiny sees Jimmy on Bumble and asks him what brought him back to Maryland. Jimmy being the guy he is jumps on this opportunity to ask her out. She was hesitant but after a little buttering up from Jimmy she obliges. The rest all fell into place. The two welcomed their daughter, Marley in June of 2023. She is a prefect mix of the two with daddy’s dimples and mama’s sass. They can’t wait to have more children and grow their family. Jimmy knew she was the one early on and saved for a ring. When he purchased the ring he asked her the following day, on the board walk in Solomon’s Island Maryland. She was stunned and completely surprised. She said yes and now the wedding planning begins.

Wedding Party

Savannah

Maid of Honor

Meet Savannah, the brides sister. Destiny was previously Made of Honor for Savannah’s wedding in September. There was no questioning that she would also be MOH. The two had their average bickering sisterhood through the years. However, they are now best friends and Destiny couldn’t do this with our her sisters support. Savannah is a proud aunt to James and Destiny’s daughter, Marley.

Jessica

Bridesmaid

Jessica and Destiny have been friends since 9th grade. They both did dance together. She is the only friend Destiny still sees from High School. Destiny had the honor of being by Jessica’s side September 2023 to watch her marry the man of her dreams. There was no chance she would of done the same without her. Put these girls together and they are trouble! That’s exactly what their parents would say.

Caitlyn

Bridesmaid

Caitlyn is an adventurer. She is usually the life of the party and can talk to anyone. Her outgoing personality helps bring Destiny out of her shell. If Destiny wants to make plans, Caitlyn will ask “when and where?” She’s always down to go.

Lindsey

Bridesmaid

This boss babe has worked her way up in her company while wrangling two kids AND going to school. We all wish we had the strength and stamina Lindsey has. She and Destiny were former coworkers and Destiny was not a fan of Lindsey at first. But soon as fate would have it, they bonded over their crappy work environment and be came amazingly close. Destiny cried her eyes out her last day at work. Not because she would miss her job but because she would miss the blunt little blonde who she now can’t live without.

Kendrah

Bridesmaid

Former coworkers, Kendrah is a soul who is easy to love. She portrays herself as heartless and a bad a** but she really is a sweetheart. Every time these two are together it’s is nothing but laughs. (The ugly cackling laughs where you snort and spit out your drink) Kendrah brings the “crack head” energy. Destiny tying the knot needed the support of this fiery beauty.

Becky

Bridesmaid

“…And they were roommates” (only the real ones get this reference) Yes, Destiny and Becky were roommates and at one point neighbors at their old apartment complex. Now the two live 4 states away from each other. Becky is one to alway be able to count on. Destiny knows when she calls Becky, she has a ear to listen and gives the best advice. Becky matches Destiny’s energy very well. They can both stay in and watch movies or go for drive in the snow and dance in the middle of a snow storming parking lot. All thanks to Becky knowing how to drive in the snow since she’s from NH. Destiny can barley drive. None the less Becky is one of those people you meet in your life that you can’t ever forget.
