Our story begins in a very modern way: with a swipe

We matched online, where one of us had a bio asking for “the worst pickup line imaginable.” The response? A bold and mysterious “Truth or dare.” It was so unexpected that it earned exactly zero points at first and was promptly ignored for two weeks. But on a quiet Sunday night, boredom won, curiosity followed, and “Truth” was finally answered. That simple reply turned into a conversation, which quickly turned into exchanging phone numbers, which then turned into the realization that maybe waiting any longer felt unnecessary. We decided to meet in person that same night, and from the moment we started talking, it felt easy. Hours passed without us noticing, the kind of conversation that makes time quietly disappear. Somewhere along the way, the topic of haircuts came up. One of us confidently claimed to have plenty of experience cutting hair. This was… slightly exaggerated. What followed was an aggressively short haircut, a brief moment of panic, and a reaction that said everything: laughter, reassurance, and a promise that we could “try again in a couple of months.” Spoiler alert: he hasn’t been to a barber since, and the haircuts have improved dramatically. What started as one night together turned into many. Before a winter vacation pulled us temporarily apart, it already felt clear that this was something special. On November 13, 2020, we made it official and became a couple. What began with a questionable pickup line, a leap of faith, and a very bad haircut somehow grew into the love we’re celebrating today. Proof that sometimes the best things come from taking a chance, trusting your instincts, and maybe never letting your partner near professional barbers again.
