"It started with spanakopita"
Vanessa and Teddy met on New Year's Eve 2018. Teddy and his roommates were hosting people for the ball drop, and Vanessa crashed the party. The first words uttered out of Vanessa's mouth to Teddy? "Do you have a knife for this?" Amazing conversation was paired with cutting up spanakopita she brought to the party -- and the rest is truly history. We're so excited to share our love on this special weekend with the people that matter to us most!

Shuttles will be provided from The American Beech Hotel to Peconic Bay Yacht Club, starting at 4:50pm. While parking is available at Peconic Bay Yacht Club, we strongly encourage our guests to use the provided transportation. Ubers are sparse in the area, and we recommend booking a car service in advance if you do not plan on taking our transportation.

On the day of the wedding, where will the shuttle pick us up?
Answer
On the day of the wedding, the shuttle will pick up guests at American Beech Hotel (302 Main St., Greenport, NY 11944).

What time will the shuttle pick me up from American Beech Hotel to head to the wedding venue?
Answer
The shuttle will pick up guests in two waves: the first wave will depart American Beech Hotel promptly at 4:45pm. The second wave will depart at 5:10pm. Please note that the ceremony starts at 5:30pm sharp.

What time will the shuttle depart the wedding venue?
Answer
We've arranged for the shuttle to do several departures: 11pm, 11:45pm, and a final shuttle at 12:30am.

Could I just call an Uber or Lyft?
Answer
Yes, but it is best to schedule an Uber or Lyft ahead of time. They can be somewhat unreliable in the North Fork at this time of year. We recommend that you book a car service if you want peace of mind.

If you aren’t using our Greenport shuttle, we’ve talked to two cab companies in the North Fork that will be available for pick-up/drop-off during our weekend. Give Classy Cab @ 631-276-7071 or Greenport Car Service @ 631-599-8472 a call to schedule.

While we did not make formal plans for Saturday, we do plan to soak in a beautiful weekend in Greenport: We'll probably go to Claudio's, Greenport Harbor Brewing Co., and/or Little Creek Oyster to continue the festivities.
