They “met” online seven years ago this February. Mario told Viv that Lindsay was only 45 minutes away 😒 They bonded through their love for the Giants and hate for the Dodgers because it’s the only sports team they agree on. The NFL season is rough in the Gutierrez/Anguiano home. They made their relationship official July 13th 2019 after Mario asked her to be his girlfriend to which she responded “I made myself your girlfriend months ago you just didn’t know it.” True story- ask his friends. Throughout the years in their relationship they have experienced tremendous losses and through them all they stood side by side until the very end and will always put each other first. This is one of the things that solidified her love for him because Mario will always do what’s right and he isn't afraid to speak up about it. On October 5th, they took a trip to San Diego for Viv's birthday. She kept thinking when is this man ever going to propose?! They had dinner reservations in La Jolla at a restaurant overlooking the water. During dinner they went through three salt/pepper shakers because they weren’t “working” and after a failed attempt of making the last one work, pepper beads spilled all over the table and the server politely making them feel like it happens all the time they decided to go for a walk. There was a wedding near the water and it made them think about what they did and didn’t want for their own wedding- they decided to elope and possibly have a party to celebrate with friends and family. They went inside a little cabin by the cliff and while she was asking him if he thought she would survive if she fell into the dark cold water, he tapped her on the shoulder, she turned around and he was on one knee and said eight words to her… “Do you want to do this, or what?” And now you all get to enjoy Tacos and Tequila.
