Our love story began at Nike, not on the shelves or in the stockroom—but somewhere between daily laughs and shared lunch breaks. We started as coworkers, then quickly became best friends. We spent nearly every day together, talking about everything and nothing, making each other laugh until our stomachs hurt. For a year and a half, we were inseparable, just two best friends who didn’t know yet that love was quietly blooming. Then came August 10, 2020—our very first date. It was just days before my birthday, and something about it felt different. That spark we’d both been too shy to admit was finally undeniable. Shortly after, Sebastian joined my friends and me on a birthday trip, and not long after that, he came with me to celebrate my brother’s birthday on a family trip. It was there, watching him fit so effortlessly into my world, that I knew—he was the one. On October 10, 2020, he officially asked me to be his girlfriend, and from that day forward, life has only gotten better. What started as friendship grew into a love we never imagined. Now, we can’t imagine a single day without each other.
Ever since I was a little girl, I dreamed of going to New York. The lights, the energy, the magic of the city always called to me—but I never imagined my first trip there would be with the love of my life. Sebastian planned it perfectly: my very first time in New York, during Christmastime—arguably the most magical season to experience the city. On December 24, 2023, in the middle of that dreamlike city, under twinkling lights and festive cheer, he asked me to marry him. I didn’t just fall in love with the city that day—I became the luckiest girl in the world, saying “yes” to a lifetime with the man who knows me better than anyone. Our story is special, not because it’s perfect, but because it’s ours. We started as best friends, and now we’re each other’s forever. From Nike to New York, and everything in between—this is just the beginning of our greatest adventure yet.
