How We Met
Vicky, a college student and JR, semi-pro basketball player originally connected on Twitter early January 2013. He hit her with a #nowfollowing mention and because he was from her hometown she followed back. We actually never met in Lawrenceville but we instantly became friends. We talked every day bonding over food, chasing our goals as firstgen kids and playing just as hard as we worked. It’s Valentine’s Day weekend in Atlanta, JRs cousin happens to live in the same student housing as Vicky so they agree to meet (in the lobby in front of the security desk after Vicky told her roomies to be on standby). Surprise no catfish and we never looked back!

When should I RSVP by?

Please RSVP above by January 13th. Respectfully, our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.

Is there a dress code?

We ask that you wear semi-formal attire such as a cocktail-length dress or dressy separates for women, a suit and tie for men or traditional African formal wear. Please do not wear any white or cream colors.

Can I bring extra guests?
Answer
Please restrict the attendees in your party to those listed on your RSVP. We wish we could accommodate all our friends and family, but resources restrict this. We hope that we are able to celebrate with others at a later date!
