Couples Facts for the Soul
* We grew up about 10 miles from one another but only met in New Jersey. * We attended the same session of the same Girl Scout Camp in Wisconsin in the same year. * Our first date ended five hours late with eating pizza in a graveyard. Later, we learned that this activity was a secret family tradition. * Both of us were terrified of the dinosaur exhibit at the Milwaukee Public Museum as kiddos. * We are tea people. * At one point we rescued a fishing line-wrapped horseshoe crab together. * We just bought a house just two blocks away from New Jersey's oldest prison! * Our favorite restaurant is Under the Moon in Lambertsville, NJ. Enjoy all sorts of hikes with different themes and levels of difficulty as you enjoy a lovely wildflower preserve. This isn't too far from Bowman's Hill Tower, which offers an excellent view of the surrounding valley.

When should I RSVP by?
Answer
We're asking everyone to RSVP by Monday, September 9th. If things are still up in the air, don't worry: just let us know when we'll hear the final word from you!

Do I need to mask or vaccinate?
Answer
We're asking of all our guests to GET THEIR CURRENT COVID-19 VACCINE and TAKE PRECAUTIONS (MASK) WHILE TRAVELLING BY AIR. A lot of the folks we love are medically vulnerable. Help us keep them safe while we celebrate by taking precautions. We don't want this happy day to bring suffering to the people we love and we need you to help us with that!

Can I bring a guest?
Answer
Check with us! We're keeping this event small to minimize health risks and so that we can celebrate with each of you -- but, if there's someone you'd like to bring along, we'll see what we can do! If you've already requested a guest, you're good to go. You can be sure you've got your 'plus one' on the books by looking at the wedding invitation you received; if it's been addressed to you "& guest," then you're all good to go!

How should I dress?
Answer
We're here to celebrate and have fun! Do dress to impress (a little!) but come comfortably! Cocktail level attire is perfect. There is no designated color scheme or anything but there will be lots of jewel tones. And with a wedding theme of chivalry, please know that we won't mind in the slightest whether you come clanking along in a suit of armor or your belle-dame-sans-merci best!

Is there an open bar?
Answer
If you want to celebrate with an alcoholic flare, be sure to bring your own bottle! Our wedding will be mostly dry. Mixers (soda, etc.) will be waiting for you, though!

Is there a theme?
Answer
Oh, there is: CHIVALRY. Think swords, tapestries, pre-raphaelite paintings with flowing fabrics and armors, millefleurs, rich gem colors, spread tables, and ivy. Be prepared for the aesthetic drama. And do feel free to bring a sword.
