How We Met
We met at Bemidji State in 2016 in an advertising marketing class. Ian tried for months to get me to hang out and I would shoot him down all the time. Finally, I gave in and hung out with him but the next day, Ian left for three months for work in Alaska. We talked almost every day when he had service. After three long months, he came home and we picked up where we left off and the rest has been history.
The Proposal
On our annual fishing trip to the bighorns, we went to one of our favorite places up there. I was very confused to why Ian didn’t instantly start fishing. All of sudden, he turned around and was down on one knee. I kept saying “REALLY” repeatedly and Ian goes are you going to say yes? He forgot to ask me anything. Once the shock wore off I said “yes” and we were engaged. We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you. See you in McGregor!

Question
How do I RSVP?
Answer
You can either RSVP on the website or a formal invite with RSVP slip will be sent out and can be mailed back to us.
Question
Is there a dress code?
Answer
There is no specific dress code, dress nicely! Groom/Groomsmen will be in nice jeans and suit jackets. No white attire please!
Question
Will the ceremony be taking place outdoors or indoors?
Answer
The ceremony will be taking place outside unless it is raining then it will be moved indoors.
Question
Can I bring kids?
Answer
Yes. However, we are tight on space so we ask that if kids are not included on your invite that you don’t bring them as we don’t have room for them.

Where are the ceremony and reception taking place?
Answer
The ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will all be held at MN National Golf Course. Ceremony will be held outdoors unless raining it will be moved indoors.

Can I Bring A Date?
Answer
If you received a plus one, your guests name will be listed on your invitation and will appear under your name when you RSVP. We are extremely tight on space so we are unable to give everyone a plus one. Thanks for understanding!

What if I don’t RSVP in time?
Answer
We will miss celebrating with you! We need to provide our venue exact numbers by a certain date so please don’t RSVP late!

Am I Invited to the Ceremony?
Answer
Due to limited amount of space at ceremony location, we are unable to invite everyone to the ceremony. If you were invited you would have received a ceremony invitation with time and place!

Is there transportation?
Answer
Yes! The golf course has a shuttle service that will run from 9pm to midnight. It will drop anyone off within 10 miles of the golf course.

Where are the bride and groom registered?
Answer
The bride and groom are registered on Amazon and Target!
