When CJ and I matched on Tinder we spoke over text and phone for only a couple of days before I had to break the news to CJ that I would only be in town for 10 days. Then I’d have to go back to Austin. We made the best of our time and spent the remainder of my time in El Paso together. CJ and I met August 8, 2019 at a Starbucks off the 375. Cute, I know. I was nervous. This was the first time meeting a stranger online but, he promised he wouldn’t steal my kidneys so I took the risk. The connection was immediate and the feeling of my world piecing itself together hit me the moment he kissed me. From the beginning it’s been everything all at once. Since then we have had to spend weeks and even months apart at times, but our connection was never lost. No matter the distance; we’ve always made it through. No matter our health. Our souls yearn for each other. And in every life it’s always us. No matter the fear no matter the sorrow. Through all the cycles we have always been everywhere, together. To each other we are our everything all at once. Orbiting each other, slowly weaving ourselves closer together. Balancing two magnetic fields so that they may intertwine without one getting lost in the other. In all the chaos, our pull to each other is what feeds our balance.
