What will the weather be like?

While no one can predict the weather, here is what to expect. October is the driest month of the year in Atlanta, but there will always be a chance of rain. The average high in late October is 71 and the average low is 54. So prepare for it to be cool, but not cold. As always, expect humidity. Sunset will be just before 7pm.

Where should we park?

Answer

Parking at the Root House will be VERY limited. Try to carpool if possible. Look for open parking spots in or around Marietta Square. The parking lot at Marietta First United Methodist, directly across N. Marietta Parkway is usually open and free. Directly across Polk St. is the parking lot for St James church, which will occasionally charge $5 for all day parking. Several other pay-to-park options are nearby, but avoid the Marietta Square Market lot, which charges by the hour.

What should I wear to the wedding?

The dress code is cocktail attire. Please note that the outside areas of the venue are coved in pea gravel, so high heels are not recommended.
